NY Times re-writes history, claims Lisa Cook was simply "targeted" by Trump for being black

The Lying Mainstream Media does one thing very well:  It lies.  Constantly, about everything.  Consider an article written by the chief economics correspondent for The Times, Ben Casselman, about a black female governor of the Federal Reserve, Lisa Cook.

In 2022 bribem appointed Cook to the *very* powerful Fed board of governors, which would make her the first black female on that board.  Every Democrat in the senate voted to confirm her, while all Republicans voted against.  She was only confirmed by the senate due to the tie-breaking vote cast by bribem's brilliant, carefully selected VP, Cackles.

Now, three years later, Cook is in the news because she appears to have committed mortgage fraud, by claiming on a mortgage app that two homes were her "principal residence."

As Cook very well knows, you get a lower interest rate on a mortage if the property you're buying will be your principal residence.  But on closing the deal, Cook promptly rented out the new property.

Two days ago the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (Bill Pulte) made a "criminal referral" to the DOJ charging Cook with the apparent fraud.

Now watch how the Times's "economic writer" spins it:

>>In an interview, [a black female doctoral student in economics--at ooohhh, Hahvahd!] bleats that it was "striking" that...Mr. Trump and Mr. Pulte had *chosen to target the Fed’s only Black female governor.*>>

<<Oh, absolutely, bitch.  Cuz any entity that tries to enforce a law or rule or regulation on a black female *must* be "targeting."  You bet.  Some of us still believe the Founders' great principle that "The law applies equally to all."  You obviously don't.  Fuck you, communist bitch.<<

>>[Black female doctoral student says] it's "notable that the attacks on Ms. Cook focused on her property ownership, since black Americans were nearly 40 percent less likely than white Americans to own homes.">>

<<You bet, bitch.  Pointing out her apparent mortgage fraud is an "attack," and noteworthy NOT because she's a f'ing governor of the Fed but because a smaller percentage of blacks than whites own homes.  No.  And if you think I'm being unfair to the black female being quoted, consider this next bleat from the student:

>>“[They're] attacking the perception of who builds wealth in this country...and essentially making an example out of her. They’re trying to paint this woman of color as someone who is unworthy of wealth.”>>

<<What *utter* horseshit.  Your fellow liberals love it when you play dat victim card, but the rest of us are less moved.  Either the law applies to everyone, or else we have two much different sets of laws, with special "protected groups" allowed to get away with violating laws the rest of us are punished for.

In a written statement Cook said she refused to "be bullied."  Ahh, playing the victim card again, eh?  And the real hoot was that she claimed that the mortgage applications happened before she was appointed to the board of governors--as if that makes everything fine.

So to hear the Times "economics writer" tell it, the current dust-up has NOTHING to do with mortgage fraud.  In fact the word "fraud" never appears in the article, and "mortgage" only appears once.

If you believe a single thing published by the Lying Mainstream Media you're an utter fool.  The Media's main function is to lie to support the Democrats.
