Just-released email shows James Clapper demanding other intel chiefs ignore normal standards to push "collusion hoax" before Trump took office
On Dec 16, 2016, the heads of Obama's intelligence agencies--including FBI director James Comey--met in the Oval Office to discuss Hilliary Clinton's idea that Trump might have "colluded with Russia" to steal the presidential election. In this first meeting a plan was hatched to get intel agencies to support this claim, and the heads of the intel agencies were told to find evidence to support that conclusion.
Just six days later--on Dec 22--the head of the National Security Agency--which wiretaps damn near everything--sent an email to the Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, saying the NSA wasn't convinced there was any collusion, and raising alarms over being told to support a story that was beginning to look like a deliberate hoax.
Two days ago Tulsi Gabbard released two previously-classified emails: In the first email, sent at 7 a.m. on Dec 22, the head of the NSA (Admiral Mike Rogers) says he's uncomfortable rushing to such dangerous conclusions on such feeble evidence--and on such a rushed schedule.
Rogers notes that Clapper is asking all the intel agencies to ignore normal safeguards and to rush to what Rogers implies may be a politically directed conclusion.
The second email is Clapper's reply to Rogers, sent at 7:43 p m that evening to Mike Rogers, John Brennan (head of the CIA) and James Comey (director of the FBI).
Understand your concern. It is essential that we (CIA, NSA, FBI, ODNI) be on the same page and are all supportive of the report--in the highest tradition of "that's OUR story and we're stickin' to it."
This evening the CIA has provided to the NIC [?] the complete draft generated by the *ad hoc fusion cell.* We will facilitate as much mutual transparency as possible *as we complete the report, but more time is not negotiable.
We may have to compromise our "normal" modalities, since we must do this on such a compressed schedule.
This is one project that has to be a team sport.
This is the smoking gun. Neither Rogers nor Comey had seen even a draft of the report, which had only been sent from CIA (co-conspirator John Brennan) to Clapper. And yet Clapper is telling them they must sign on to it despite any disagreements, and we don't have time to debate this.
Also note Clapper says "We may have to compromise our 'normal' modalities since we must do this on such a compressed schedule." This sounds like an admission that they'll be expected to ignore normal safeguards.
The "report" Clapper refers to will claim that the "Russia-collusion" story--a hoax that all but Rogers know was crafted by the Clinton campaign to distract from her email scandal--is real.
The plotters cooked up this hoax after the December 16, 2016 meeting with Obama, in which Obama ordered them to write a finding supporting the Narrative that Trump had "colluded with Putin to steal the 2016 election from Hilliary." They had to get that done before Trump took office.
With such a tight deadline Clapper couldn't have Rogers slowing things down, or refusing to agree with the not-yet-written but predetermined "report." With Trump due to take office in just 35 days there wasn't time to do things by the book.
Clapper's email to Rogers, Comey and Brennan makes it clear that there was no honest evidence supporting the claim of collusion. Instead the only "evidence" was the Steele dossier, which was paid for by Hilliary's campaign and later found to be fabricated.
But Obama was determined to cripple Trump's presidency, and knew that with the help of the Dem-fellating Mainstream Media, this hoax would do it.
Keep in mind that Clapper wrote this email on December 22, 2016, just 29 days before Obozo would be out of office and the plotters would likely be out as well. They didn't have time to use "normal procedures" to check out the claim.
Note Clapper's statement that he will attempt "as much mutual transparency as possible."
"Mutual transparency"? WTF does that mean? I'd love to see him explain that on live TV, before congress. My guess is that he's telling Mike Rogers that he can't tell Rogers what Clapper claims the other agencies know, so Rogers will have to just take Clapper's word for it.
Of course the *entire* basis for the claim is Hillary Fucking Clinton's paid, fabricated dossier--paid for to distract the public from her email scandal.
Note that Clapper is demanding that everyone sign off on the report before it's been finished. Indeed, Rogers hasn't even seen the *draft,* which Clapper helpfully admits his co-conspirator (CIA head Brennan) only sent him "this evening."
Clapper also helpfully adds "...more time is non-negotiable." That's a command.
Clapper helpfully admits we have to "compromise on our 'normal' modalities."
"Modalities" seems to be baffle-gab for "procedures," used because it sounds so lofty and opaque. I'd love to see him explain what he meant--which was, violate all of our normal methods and standards and safeguards for intelligence collection and assessment.
Clapper knows they have no evidence that hasn't been paid for by Democrats.
This is treason. This is a coup. If they get away with this (and they will), you can expect similar attempts by Democrats whenever a Republican wins a presidential election.
