Gallup poll shows Dems leading by 3 points, down from 4-point GOP lead in Q4 of 2024

Democrat pols, elites and their lying lackeys in the Mainstream Media have been demonizing Trump for a decade.  And they're really good at it, so much so that a recent poll shows that after voters leaning Republican during bribem's rule, we're now back to more Americans saying they favor Democrats.

That may strike you as unlikely because CNN keeps reporting that the Dems favorability rating is around 35%--a 30-year low.

I think the explanation is that voters don't like most Dem *policies,* like open borders, more free shit for people who refuse to work, blocking deportation of illegals who've committed serious crimes, pushing more tranny operations, letting males compete in girls' sports, letting thugs out of jail without posting bail, raising taxes (while denying they're raising *your* taxes), blocking photo ID to vote, allowing everyone to vote by mail, with no witnesses needed, blocking all efforts to reduce federal employees in bloated agencies and so on.

But most people have trouble following those proposals.  By sharp contrast, when Dems scream dat "Trump is Hitler!" or "power-mad" or "acting like a king" or "hiding the Epstein files cuz he was one of Epstein's clients," everyone instantly understands those claims.  Doesn't take any careful analysis.

The Dems know they can't win on policies, so they switch to ad-hominem attacks that don't require listeners to be informed or do the work of analyzing policies.  Smart move.

For most of 2023 and last year, more Americans identified themselves as either being or leaning Republican. but because of the constant avalanche of Media stories comparing Trump to Hitler--or more recently to a king--that's now reversed.  

Take a look at this plot for the same survey for the past 2.5 years.  Specifically note the huge swing between Q4 of last year and Q2 of this year: Went from a four- point GOP advantage to a three-point Dem advantage.

 

Now, if this poll had been done by one of the known Dem-shill push-polls, I'd ignore it.  But this is from Gallup, which doesn't seem to be an obvious Dem shill, and it's a large poll--3,000 people.

Next data-point: The Democrats are paying companies like "Crowds-on-demand" to create demonstrations for national TV, such as a recent one in DC.  Problem is, the average low-info viewer doesn't even know such companies exist, so they think the anti-Trump movement is really rolling.  So more morons turn out for the next demo.

Conclusion: There's no reason to believe any of the scandals like Schiff's and Letitia James's mortgage frauds will actually be prosecuted, and even if they were, it wouldn't seem likely to dent the Dems' chances of winning the mid-terms.  Based on current *trends* my guess is that the Dems will win at least the House next year--in which case congress won't pass anymore Trump policies unless Trump and Republicans agree to huge concessions on Dem policies.

Hate to be a downer but I have to call 'em as I see 'em.
