Billions wasted by Dems trying to buy battery-powered school buses

"Say, citizen, you all know dat duh mos' awful, dire threat to all life on Erf is Globull Worming, right?

Sure!  An' Science sez dat's caused by a dread poison gas called "CO2," which is gon' kill all life on Erf if we Dems don' stop it.  An' you know what one of duh biggest sources of CO2 is?

Gasoline-powered school buses!

For those who don't understand sarcasm, the amount of CO2 emitted by all the school buses in the U.S. is about 0.0001% of all CO2 emissions, so essentially zero.  But Dems refuse to let facts interrupt a good scam.

So whut we needs t'do is...(wait for it!)...make school buses battery-powered!

So in 2021 one of duh firs' huge spending bills we Dems passed--amusingly called duh "Infrastructure Bill"--gave $5 BILLION tax dollahs to a thing we Dems created, called duh "Clean School Bus program!"  An' we gave $159 million to a Canadian company called Lion to build 435 batt-powered school buses!

See, we Dems iz reeeally guuud at spotting rock-solid companies and technology!

Yeah, well...in 2020, before bribem and the Dems gave this supposedly rock-solid Canadian company--Lion--$159 million, it reported a loss of $300 million.  But it wuz really...rock-solid, eh?  A great bet.

And last December the company filed for bankruptcy.  So how many school buses did the Democrats buy with your $159 million, eh?

Good luck finding out.  All we know is that the company has failed to deliver $95 million worth of electric buses to 55 districts across the country.  So 55 districts have received no buses, and $95 million has vanished in bankruptcy.  

To Dems that's a nothing--a rounding error.

Battery-powered buses cost three times more than regular buses, so duh Dem program gave schools "rebates" for buying duh electric ones.  A typical "brilliant" example is that of a school district in Iowa that was given $395,000 as a "rebate" to buy one of doze faaabulous electric buses. That $395,000 bought ONE electric bus--and ONE charging station.

This is either utter corruption, or utter stupidity/incompetence.  Take your pick.

I'm sorry, but...Democrats are killing the U.S.  Y'all know it's true, in part because  they're so furious about trying to cut fraud and waste.  This is the same party that DEMANDS that the govt canNOT deport people illegally in the U.S.  Fuck 'em.
