Most Americans don't notice how cunningly the Lying Mainstream Media misleads ya. For example, here's the NY Times today, on border crossings:
During the height of the immigration surge under Mr. Biden — when more than 1,000 migrants were crossing a day —
Average American reads that and thinks "More than a thousand a day? That's a lot of invaders, but it doesn't seem too bad in the great scheme of things, eh?"
So maybe 30,000 a month? Really? Not even close: The real number is SIX TIMES HIGHER.
Ahh, I see my liberal siblings don't believe that. In April 2024, the U.S.
Customs and Border Protection reported 179,725 entered the U.S. at the Mexican border. Huge difference. And many months in 2024 saw 10,000 a day, 300,000 per month. But who cares, eh?
The huge difference is because the Times editors were quoting only the number of illegals coming across in the town of Eagle Pass. But they cunningly didn't say that.
Times editors: "We weren't trying to fool anyone by saying only a thousand "people" were crossing into the U.S. every day. And we're sure no one was...uh..."misled" by the number we reported. Cuz we iz absolutely unbiased!"
Ohhh, you bet, sparky.
