Corrupt Dems in Philly 14 years ago rule that a female teacher with 20 stab wounds killed herself
Few things infuriate me more than corrupt State or government shitheads conspiring to cover up a murder or other similar crime. Hence this post.
Almost 14 years ago a school teacher in Philly (Ellen Greenberg) was found dead in her apartment, with 20 stab wounds--half of which were in her back, including the back of her head. One had enough force to penetrate her skull.
But Ellen's death didn't add to Philly's murder count--because local authorities ruled...wait for it...that *she'd committed suicide.*
Rational people can't believe this is possible: How do you stab yourself in the back ten times--once in the back of the head hard enough to fracture the skull? And after 10 stabs to the chest, it's hard to imagine anyone having enough strength to strike ten more times to the back. It made no sense. Or do "investigators" (spit!) claim the victim *started* by stabbing herself in the back ten times?
Either way, neither of those theories seemed to make the corrupt authorities (and Philly is full of 'em) hesitate for even a moment.
Greenberg shared an apartment with her fiance, a "connected" guy named Sam Goldberg. Just before being murdered, the victim had sent out "save-the-date" notices for her planned wedding. A half-prepared fruit salad was on the counter when she died.
The fiance said he'd been at the gym and returned home to find the door locked. Then over the next 22 minutes he sent the victim nine texts:
"Hello"
"open the door"
"what r u doin"
"im getting pissed"
"hello" (again)
"you better have an excuse"
"what the f***"
"ahhh" and
"u have no idea"
What the hell is with "Hello"?
When she didn't reply to his texts, why not call instead? It's certainly quicker and easier, eh? Can anyone think of a reason he chose to delay for 22 minutes instead of calling her? Oh, yeah...
After getting no response, he said he kicked in the locked door and found his fiancée's body--with a long kitchen knife still in her chest.
In the first of a long chain of what begin to seem like intentional moves to avoid a ruling of murder, that knife wasn't checked for fingerprints until months later.
Oddly, cell phone records show he made two calls *before* calling 911. Both were to family members who were lawyers.
Recall that the fiance said he'd kicked in the locked door. The apartment manager examined the door frame and found no damage. He photographed the frame, which is part of the case record. Sure enough, no damage.
A forensic pathologist with the city medical examiner's office at the time initially ruled the teacher's death a homicide, but after a closed-door meeting with police he reversed himself and ruled it a suicide.
There doesn't appear to be any record of what the cops told the pathologist that got him to change his mind.
The next oddity is that before the pathologist had ruled "suicide"--when cops presumably thought they had a murder-- the apartment manager said unnamed "authorities" allowed the crime scene to be professionally cleaned and sanitized before detectives arrived with a search warrant. The manager said he took video before the cleaning but that video has supposedly been lost by the cops.
Since at that point it appeared the teacher had been murdered, allowing the crime scene to be cleaned before investigators could comb it for clues was highly unusual.
The next oddity is that unnamed "authorities" allowed the uncle of the connected fiance--a prominent judge in Pennsylvania (James Schwartzman)--to enter the apartment and remove the victim's computer and cell phone. Why? A representative for Schwartzman told reporters "police" gave Schwartzman permission to go in and take the victim's belongings and confirmed he'd taken her computer and cellphone.
This is so corrupt as to defy belief: The two weren't married, so the fiance had no legal claim to Ellen's property. Plus the judge didn't turn both items over to either his nephew (the killer) or Ellen's parents. Total, brazen, outrageous corruption by a damn *judge.* I predict this wasn't the first time this shithead broke the law.
Obviously a judge would know that the cell phone and computer could provide vital evidence to find a murderer--such as if she was being stalked, or having an affair. Knowing that, what logical reason would he have to take those items, eh?
Can anyone think of one?
The record is silent on the name of the officer who supposedly gave the judge/uncle permission to take the items, and equally silent on *why* he took them. But it sounds like a defense tactic.
Next: the autopsy reported Ellen's body was covered in bruises, suggesting earlier physical abuse. The "authorities" didn't seem at all concerned about that.
Next: the victim had been meeting with a psychiatrist before her death. That professional said the victim didn't express any suicidal thoughts or feelings. This too was disregarded by "the authorities."
The fiance apparently didn't have his keys with him when he went to the gym. What if Ellen would have had to leave unexpectedly? In Philly you'd never leave your door unlocked, so the fiance would have been locked out. Who doesn't take their keys to the gym?
Finally about the knife found in her chest: That means that after 19 stab wounds, ten of which were in her back, one of which had enough force to fracture her skull--a suicide ruling would require that she still be conscious and with enough muscle control to stab herself deeply in the chest.
Horseshit.
The 20 stab wounds alone--with ten from behind and a final stab to the chest--should make the idea of declaring suicide ludicrous, absurd. Obscenely corrupt.
There's the undamaged door frame, even though the fiance said the door was locked and that he "kicked it in."
Then there's the fiance, who kept his mouth shut for 13 years before finally giving a quote last month: seems he totally agrees on suicide, saying Ellen was mentally ill, despite no such findings by her psychiatrist. But given the overwhelming improbability of suicide, you'd think he'd want the idea of murder to be at least examined, eh?
Why would he be so eager to claim she was mentally ill and killed herself?
Why indeed.
Neither Philly cops nor the fiance responded to requests for comment.
Finally: The state's attorney-general at the time was rising Democrat star Josh Shapiro, who some claim is a close family friend of the fiance's family, and is now governor of Pennsylvania.
Ellen's parents--believing the State to be less corrupt than Philly--asked the state to re-open the case. As the state A-G, that decision was made by Shapiro, who looked at the case file (or at least we assume he did) and said the equivalent of "I don' see nuttin' unusual at all in this case. So pound sand."
In view of ALL the facts above, either Shapiro is corrupt, or he's incompetent--and I'll go either way you like on that.
Thanks, Josh. Thanks, Philly DA and corrupt cops. Y'all need to burn in hell for eternity plus ten.
And the fiance--who oddly did NOT want the state to be looking for a killer? Deleted: we want to avoid traumatizing snowflakes.
