Man pleads guilty in death of toddler who was killed by fentanyl at NYC daycare center

If you were an illegal alien who wanted the best cover to sell illegal drugs, what would be the ideal place to set up shop, eh?

If you quickly said "In a daycare center" you win.

Last September a toddler died of fentanyl poisoning and three others were injured at a daycare center in the Bronx.  Normally this would be handled by the corrupt state court system and the perps would be released and would vanish, but this time for some reason the feds got involved.

As you probably guessed, after the death of the toddler, the husband of the owner immediately fled to Mexico but was caught and extradited back to the U.S.  And yesterday he pleaded guilty to federal narcotics charges.  But not to "wrongful death" or "manslaughter" or "conspiracy to kill a child" or any serious stuff.

The biden regime won't even bother to deport him.

After Felix Herrera-Garcia's wife found the one toddler dead and three more unresponsive, before she called emergency services she called her husband.  Before EMS arrived, surveillance video shows Herrera-Garcia leaving the daycare through a back door carrying two shopping bags thought to be filled with drugs.

Prosecutors accused Herrera-Garcia of hiding a staggering 10 kilograms of fentanyl at the daycare center, in secret compartments under the floor of the playroom. Authorities also said a kilo of fentanyl was kept on children’s sleeping mats.  A pill press was found at the day care.

Democrats immediately claimed this whole thing was a setup by Trump supporters to try to get voters to believe it might have something to do with the biden regime warmly, compassionately welcoming millions of po' "refugees" into the U.S. at our southern border--which they quickly assured voters was "absolutely, totally secure."
