Having allowed 2.5 million illegals in, biden regime now blames NYC for not doing enough to house 'em

As everyone knows, corruptocrat biden has thrown the border wide open.  Border states were forced to bear the brunt of the invasion, and finally the governors of two border states got smart and started chartering buses and shipping busloads of illegals to New York, D.C. and Chitcongo--all of which had piously, virtuously declared they were "sanctuary cities."  So when duh buses arrived, the Democrat mayors of those cities couldn't easily say "Just kidding--we don't want 'em!"

Duh biden regime, dey no like illegals in Dem cities, cuz make 'em look bad.  So the regime has devised a BRILLIANT counterattack:  "We'll blame the Dem mayors of any city that complains, for not doing enough to feed and house the 'undocumented Americans.'"

To put this into operation, last month the Department of Homeland Security sent an "assessment team" to New York City to "see how local authorities were handling the *unprecedented influx* of illegal migrants making their way into the city."

While the results of this "investigation" haven't been released, a senior DHS official told the Post Millenial that mayor Adams's response had been "inadequate." 

Seriously, the biden regime said since New York City has a "right to shelter" law, the city must provide shelter to everyone.  The fact that illegals were sleeping on the sidewalk outside a huge hotel rented by taxpayer funds specifically for illegals, that showed lack of planning.

"It's not an operationally sound effort," said the biden DHS official.  He went on to slam the mayor for having "no exit strategy."  Coming from the regime that has allowed over five MILLION illegals into the U.S. in just over 2.5 years in office, that's really tone-deaf.  Clueless.

On Monday Cuban native DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announced that the assessment team had made "significant recommendations," and that the department was now "executing on those recommendations in close partnership with the city."  Mayorkas didn't promise funding to help the city enact any of those "significant recommendations" but you can expect that's coming.

But the hoot is that having cause the problem, the biden regime now has the gall to criticize a city for not doing enough to house the illegals biden allowed into the U.S.  You couldn't make this stuff up!
