A brief lesson on a U.S. law everyone should know--and that the regime is violating
United States Code (i.e. law), Title 18, Section 242 makes it a crime for ANY person "acting under color of law" to willfully deprive a person of a right or privilege protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States.
For the purpose of Section 242, acts under "color of law" include acts not only done by federal, state, or local officials within their lawful authority, but also acts done beyond the bounds of that official's lawful authority, if the acts are done while the official is purporting to act in the performance of his/her official duties. Persons acting under color of law within the meaning of this statute include police officers, prisons guards and other law enforcement officials, as well as judges, care providers in public health facilities, and others who are acting as public officials. [Would that include mayors and governors? Yes!]
The offense is punishable by a range of imprisonment up to a life term, or the death penalty, depending upon the circumstances of the crime, and the resulting injury, if any.
TITLE 18, U.S.C., SECTION 242
Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, ... shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if bodily injury results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.
SO...let's review: When the Chyna virus--the "plandemic"--hit, scores of Democrat governors, and hundreds of Dem mayors, ORDERED Americans not to go to church or synagogue or mosque. Sounds like violating both the right to peacefully assemble AND freedom of religion.
Then after bribem was installed, his gestapo (FBI and DOJ) pressured social media to delete any posts the regime didn't like. They bleated that since *private companies* were doing the censoring, it didn't violate the Constitution--hoping no American would notice court decisions holding that if the government forces a cat's-paw to do as the government demands, that's not Constitutional. So there went freedom of speech.
The J6 protesters--even those who didn't go into the Capitol, and a couple who weren't even in DC that day!--were ALL denied bail, despite posing no threat. Yet the Constitution specifies that reasonable bail shall not be denied. Oh, you didn't know that? I'm not surprised: the schools stopped teaching the Constitution 30 years ago, replacing it with teaching the fabulousness of gayness. Anyway, one more Constitutionally-guaranteed right taken away.
But despite these clear violations of Section 242 of Title 18 of the "U.S code" there haven't been any prosecutions of ANY official. How can that be when the section quoted above exists and is totally clear and unambiguous, eh?
Because the biden "justice department" doesn't want to enforce that part of U.S. law, just as they're determined not to enforce U.S. law on immigration.
Under the biden regime, U.S. law is whatever they say it is--nothing more or less. If they don't enforce something, that law might as well not exist--like Section 242 of Title 18.
I'd love to see a dozen GOP reps and senators quote this section on the floor of congress, and ask why the biden regime hasn't prosecuted under it (even though we already know).
