"Renewable Energy" Yaaaaaayyy!!

Renewable.  Energy.  It's SO faaaabulous!

"Renewable" means you have to renew the machines constantly.  But at least it's not emitting the dread poison gas "carbon dioxide," eh?  Oh wait...how much energy does it take to make this thing?  Melt the steel, cast the main support, melt glass to make fiberglass blades, energy to make the cement for the concrete base....hmmm...  Eh, prolly not much, right?

The video is even more gripping.  SO, class, what have we learned from this?

Student:  "Uh...that wind turbines will continue to be subsidized by corrupt politicians to signal their great virtue?  In other words, nothing?"

Teacher: "Absolutely right, Mikey."
