Leftists/Dems wailing after all-Muslim city council bans Pride flag from city buildings

If you're a member of a minority trying to overthrow the existing system, a universal tactic is the principle "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

The Left always wants power, so Leftists enthusiastically embrace as an ally any group that also wants to overthrow our existing, Constitution-based, freedom-based society.  Thus the Left has warmly embraced militant feminism, environmental extremists, idiot savants screaming that the planet is doomed (Greta) and every other group that wants to overthrow the system the Founders fought for.

So it's no surprise that the U.S. Left--Democrats--embraced Islam, and constantly accused conservatives of "Islamophobia."  So how's that working out?

Hamtramck, Michigan, is roughly 80% Muslim, and was the first city in the U.S. to elect a totally Muslim city council--a fact wildly cheered by the U.S. Left.  But last week the all-Muslim city council did the unthinkable: it voted unanimously to ban flying the gay/trans flag on city property.

The Mainstream Media ignored the story, instantly recognizing that running the story would spotlight one of the huge disagreements between the Left and Islam--something the Media doesn't want, since this hurts the Democrats.  But the UK’s far-Left Guardian rag had no such constraints, and wailed that the ban showed that the city's Muslims had betrayed the Left that had done so much to help them get to where they are today.  "We're your friends!  You just can't do this to us!"

See, the Left has always viewed Muslims as allies against duh eeeeebil patriarchy!  So the Left (Democrats) were always the ones bleating that conservatives were “Islamophobic,” eh?  So how could the Muslims--the Left's beloved allies--possibly vote against flying the pride flag everywhere?

Former Hamtramck Mayor Karen Majewski summed up the Left’s sadness over the Muslim council's vote against duh tran-gays: “We supported you when you were threatened, and now our rights are threatened, and you’re the ones doing the threatening.”

Note that Karen believes she and her LGBTetc allies have the right to fly their flag on government buildings, eh?  Actually that's not her right, so neither her rights nor those of other gaytrans have actually been threatened.  But the wail "You're threatening our rights" is powerful, and convincing to the gullible.

If you think this was an anomaly--a "one-off"--you missed that two weeks ago, in the totally Left-ruled enclave of Loudoun County, Virginia, a group of parents showed up at a school board meeting to complain about gaytrans indoctrination of their kids in the public school system.  Guess who protested?

Almost entirely Muslims.  So you can expect this to become more common, just as you can expect the Democrat Mainstream Media to do their best to ignore it.
