How the Global Warming scam works

Ya know who we need to listen to, and obey?  That smaht girl with the PhD in atmospheric physics, Greta Thunberg.

Okay, so she doesn't have a PhD in atmospheric physics.  That makes no difference to the Lying Mainstream Media, because she's so smaht and charming and...utterly convincing, eh?  So they hang on her every word, giving her their platforms to reach billions of people around the world.

The scam works like this: the Lying Media find a young Leftist--well-trained by xe/xirs parents to spout whatever line the Media is pushing.  The young leftist becomes the face of The Movement, pushed to all young residents of western nations as The Cool Thing.

The young residents--eager to Make a Difference/Change the World, as almost all young people are eager to do--strongly, vocally support the Face of The Movement virtually every week.  Voila: instant news, gripping headlines, selling more papers and grabbing eyeballs on screens.

And if the dire predictions made by the young leftist are utterly wrong, who cares?  The Media got most of what it wanted (the rest being the total destruction of western economies), and no one will recall any of the failed predictions.  They never do.  And before the internet, even if some people with good memories did recall a failed prediction, no one would believe them, and it was really hard to prove.  Plus, most people didn't care anyway.

Well...how are Greta's predictions doing, eh?  Well one of the implicit bleats of the Warmies is that rising CO2 is due to human activity, and will cause more tornadoes and hurricanes.  And since 1950 atmospheric CO2 has indeed risen from 310 to 420 parts per million.  So have we gotten more hurricanes and tornadoes, as NOAA and NASA constantly scream is happening?  Take a look:

See any increase there?  Me neither.  But you never saw that plot before--and won't, because the Lying Mainstream Media doesn't want you to see it--because it utterly destroys The Narrative.

So let's look at another Greta prediction:  In June of 2018 the left's favorite autistic savant predicted that if we didn't stop using so-called "fossil fuels" within 5 years, "climate change will wipe out ALL of humanity!!!"  

So Greta predicts humanity is doomed.

That brings to mind a prediction from a vaunted "senior U.N. environmental official" back in 1989.  He claimed we were doomed unless "governments" reversed the Global Warming trend by the year 2000.

Guess we're livin' on borrowed time now.  Or maybe the U.N. managed to reverse the trend before 2000 but no one wanted to announce it because the scam was working so successfully.

And it's amusing that the only nations being screamed at by the Leftists are western nations.  China is going full-throttle building coal-fired powerplants, laughing its ass off at the stupid people ruling the Western nations.  They must wonder how people can be so utterly stupid to fall for this obvious scam.

Of course the reasons are a) half of westerners are far too uneducated to have even a vague grasp of the actual science; b) they believe whatever the Media and Leftist pols tell 'em, cuz it never occurs to 'em that those groups would actually LIE to their people, eh?
