Democrats in Minnesota giving "free" college to illegal aliens

Say, citizen, ya know what a GREAT use of taxpayer dollars would be?  Let's have taxpayers give free college tuition to anyone who wants to go!

Isn't that great?  And the Democrats who rule the Peoples' Republic of Minnesota have decided that's what they'll make taxpayers do.

To qualify, all you need is to have a household income of $80,000 or less, and  to have either graduated from high school in that state, or have lived in the state for a year. 

Even better, illegal immigrants will be eligible for this great gift.

The Democrats (who rule the state government) are absolutely creaming themselves with virtue-signaling.  Democrat Omar Fateh, chair of the state senate's Higher Education committee, said “We want to make sure that when we’re expanding opportunities for everybody, we’re doing it for all Minnesotans, regardless of background, regardless of their documentation status.”

The program is expected to cost $117 million in its first year.  Any bets on the actual cost in year two?
