FBI knew Hunty's laptop was authentic a year before pressuring Social Media to censor story revealing it

In December of 2019 the FBI confiscated a laptop computer that Hunter Biden had abandoned at a repair shop.  That laptop contained some 35,000 emails proving biden family corruption, yet the thoroughly corrupt FBI took no public action until August of 2020.

The action the FBI took in August of 2020 should outrage every American: the FBI warned social media--including Twitter--to expect a story to drop a few weeks before the election about a "biden family member."  The FBI told social media the story that would drop was "Russian disinformation" and that they should delete any posts mentioning it.  

Sure enough, three weeks before the 2020 election the NY Post broke the story about the laptop.  Social media promptly obeyed the FBI and spiked the story.  Twitter (pre-Musk) even locked the NY Post's twitter account.

But testifying before congress this week, IRS supervisory agent and whistleblower Gary Shapley said that despite the FBI telling social media that the laptop was Russian disinformation, the FBI had actually verified that the laptop was Hunter and was authentic almost a year earlier.  In other words, the FBI knew the laptop was authentic but lied to social media, saying it was Russian disinformation.

The FBI's analysis of the laptop also revealed evidence of tax fraud. According to Shapley, the FBI purportedly authenticated the computer “by matching the device number against Hunter Biden’s Apple iCloud ID.”

Shapley says he knows the FBI knew the laptop contained evidence of tax fraud because when the FBI took possession of the device in December 2019, it notified the IRS of that evidence.  Shapley told congress that an FBI agent [name redacted] drafted an affidavit for a search warrant, which a magistrate judge approved that month.

Shapley — who became supervisor of the investigation in January 2020 — went on to claim that once he and his team began collaborating with the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Delaware, “it soon became clear … this case was being handled differently than any [he’d] seen before.” Shapley asserted that by the time Joe Biden became the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee in April 2020, DOJ officials were clearly delaying investigative actions.”  “It was apparent that DOJ was purposely slow-walking investigation of this case,” he said.

The timeline of these events is critical. If Shapley’s testimony is true it means that the FBI knowingly lied when it warned social media that an upcoming story about a "biden family member" was "Russian disinformation," since they'd authenticated the laptop nearly a full year before the New York Post dropped its bombshell story.

Twitter users were not allowed to share the story, even via direct message. The platform further removed links and posted warnings that it may be “unsafe.”  Facebook announced shortly after the story broke that it would be “reducing [the story’s] distribution” (i.e. censoring it).

Even before the Post story broke, Fakebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was on video saying the FBI had warned his company to be on “high alert” about a possible story about the biden family, saying it would be “Russian propaganda.”  So the FBI’s warning went to more than just Twitter, and succeeded in hiding the story from most voters.

According to Twitter’s then-head of "Trust and safety" Yoel Roth, FBI agents held several meetings with his staff, saying the FBI expected ‘hack-and-leak operations’ by state actors to occur just before the 2020 presidential election.”  Roth specifically noted that the FBI warned that the "disinformation" story would involve Hunter Biden.

After Musk bought Twitter last fall, he released thousands of emails confirming the FBI's numerous meetings with Twitter employees, and their total cooperation in censoring the story as soon as it broke.

All this paints a damning picture of FBI corruption: Despite knowing in November of 2019 that the laptop was authentic, the FBI lied to and pressured social media companies to get them to suppress a story the FBI knew was true, to help biden win the election.  

That kind of behavior is typical of dictatorships.  And you can't vote your way out of a dictatorship.

Now it makes sense.
