The Left has discovered a way to accomplish a major goal: to destroy Twitter

 Well I was waiting for this:  The leftoid wokie dictators have devised a way to kill Twitter.  The first salvo came yesterday from Australia.

The leftist, woke, totalitarian covernment of Oz actually has a "commissioner of eSafety" named Julie Inman Grant.  Seriously, a "commissioner of eSafety."  And with the full approval of her leftist shithead bosses, Julie has DECREED that Twitter isn't doing enough to delete what Julie classifies as "hate speech."  Oh, and also "on-line abuse."

She's given Musk exactly 28 days to "prove Twitter is serious about eliminating the things Julie and her bosses don't like.  And if Julie isn't satisfied, she will order that Twitter be fined $475,000 per DAY.

Now, other than the usual dictatorial, anti-free-speech bullshit, here's why that's important:  First, Musk can't get any court in Oz to overturn that, since they're all toadies for the leftist gruberment, just as here.

Trying to make this extortion look warm and fuzzy, Julie bleated “We need accountability from these platforms *and action to protect their users.*  And you cannot have accountability without transparency, and that’s what legal notices like this one are designed to achieve.”

Ah, a "legal notice," y'say.  This is a legal notice like a bank robber passing a note saying "Put all your cash in this bag or I'll kill you."  All perfectly legal, right?

Julie farted that one in three complaints about online “hate speech” are now related to Twitter.  She claimed that after Elon Musk bought Twitter in October 2022, there was an instant increase in “toxicity and hate” on the social media platform.

I'd LOVE to see what Julie would belch as alleged examples of "toxicity and hate" on post-Musk twitter.  For example, I call trannies trannies.  Is that "toxicity and hate"?  I suspect Julie will claim it is.

Or what if I post that "There are only two genders," bitch?  Is that "toxicity and hate"?  Of course you'll join all the other wokie shitheads in saying it is.  Cuz leftist language minders can always find an implied sinister message in anything.

How about a post saying "It's good to be on time"?  Is that hate?  Julie will say it is, cuz reasons.  Of course those reasons won't make sense to rational people, but that doesn't matter to Julie cuz Julie isn't playing to rational people, but to leftists.

SO...Musk has three choices: drop the platform's goal of free, uncensored speech; or, stop doing business in Australia; or pay the daily fine.  That last is untenable because Julia will simply increase the fine without limit, until Twitter is losing money being carried in Australia.  So it's really the second choice again, less a bunch of cash.

The reason this is significant is...can you guess?  Sure: if Musk takes Twitter out of Australia, how many more wokie leftist shithole politicians will give him exactly the same choice (ultimatum)?

Voila: the end of Twitter, and the leftists/wokie assholes win again.  Wow.
