Navy rolls out a drag queen as an invitation to new recruits. Get woke, eh?

I know my liberal friends aren't gonna believe this but...in fact, no one will believe it.  But...the U.S. Navy rolled out a new "recruiting effort:"  an active-duty sailor whose after-hours hobby is...being a drag queen. 

Yes, the same folks who thought it would be a great idea to hire a tranny to sell Bud Light were absolutely giddy about this idea.  It was part a "digital pilot program" featuring several sailors showing potential recruits that contra to what people have always said about the armed forces, you can be anything you want to be, both on and off-duty.

See, the old, unwoke armed forces pushed the idea that the purpose was to be ready to fight a war.  To do that they wanted people who weren't drama queens or narcissists or crazy, or even "eccentric."  But they found that astonishingly, Gen-Z or whatever the fuck they're called now, don't dig that stuff!

No one is sure where the Z folks got the crazy notion that being in the military meant you could only do drag at night, but there ya go.  So the advertising wizards decided to change that.  Yay!
