Natural gas is responsible for feeding half the world--so why do western politicians want to ban it?

All plants need nitrogen to produce food.  Luckily, 78 percent of our atmosphere is nitrogen.  Unfortunately plants can't extract nitrogen from the air.  Only the roots can absorb the vital nitrogen.

Fortunately in 1909 two brilliant chemists, Fritz Haber and Carl Bosch, invented a way to turn nitrogen in the air into a form plants could use: ammonia.

A key step in that process uses methane (natural gas) to produce hydrogen.  So since nitrogen fertilizer is the key to food production, and natural gas is the key to producing enough nitrogen fertilizer, it's not a stretch to say that half the people on Earth are alive today thanks to fertilizer made from natural gas.

If that's true--and you're welcome to do your own research to confirm it is--why are western governments, both bidenharrisDem and abroad, trying to reduce humanity’s natural gas supply?

One obvious possible reason is that both methane and ammonia are "greenhouse gases," which the warmies claim are about to kill all life on earth--or at least in the coastal cities where the "elites" live.

But one wonders if the "elites" realize that if natural gas becomes less available it will necessarily become far more expensive.  (We repeatedly see them deny that the Laws of Supply and Demand are valid, so...)  In that case fertilizer would become similarly far more costly--in which case poor farmers would likely be unable to afford it, cutting their food production.

Between lower food production and much more costly fertilizer, food would become more expensive.  Do the politicians--like biden--know this?  Impossible to know, but if so, they apparently don't care.

It's just coincidence that the "elites" of the World Economic Forum have formally declared that there are too many people on Earth.  As they see it, reducing the population by about four billion would be a good thing.

So who chooses the people to go bye-bye?

Now: even though the members of the WEF are overwhelmingly of European descent, their wokie insistence on virtue-signaling means their policies will ensure that *lots* of the people they choose to survive will NOT be Americans--or any citizens of western nations.

Instead the WEF will continue their current policy of insisting that the tax dollars of prosperous western nations be used to feed African nations.  So as food gets far more expensive you'll pay more, but African nations will continue to have food given to them.

As food becomes far more costly, what do you think that will do to the size of western families?
