"Green" plan to turn wood chips into jet fuel spends $377 million, produces...wait, HOW many gallons?

Hey, citizen: heard about dis "green new deal" yet?  All duh cool, sophisticated investors are jumping on the bandwagon, cuz duh mos' skeery threat to duh world is, y'know, Global Warming.  An' duh green new deal gonna stop dat, by turnin' wood chips into jet fuel.  And making your gasoline-powered car illegal.

So how dat first part workin' out, eh?  Well, one project in Democrat-ruled Oregon, run by a company called "Red Rocks Biofuels," has now flushed over $377 MILLION down the tubes: $300 million in SUPER, tax-exempt bonds issued by the state and bought by sophisticated, woke, "green" investors, $75 million from the Defense budget and $2 million from the corruptocrats running the town of Lakeview, Oregon.  Another grant came from the U.S. Forest Service, but although there are 74 articles on that grant, not one mentions the amount.  And yeah, that's odd.

But don't worry, folks: all that money make good salaries for the founders for eleven years, which is really good.  And only $77 million is taxpayer money--the other $300 million was from those sophisticated, woke, green-energy-loving investors, so at least there's that.

Those of you with long memories may recall a similar "woke" scam from Obozo's imperial days: That one also involved a faaaaabulous deal to replace oil, gas, coal and nuclear, this time with SOLAR panels. Obozo's Department of Energy gave a staggering $500 million--that's half a BILLION dollars--to a Cali company called "Solyndra" that made solar panels.

Two weeks later the company's execs awarded themselves huge bonuses.  And a month after that Solyndra filed for bankruptcy.

Democrat business savvy at its finest, citizen.  Oh sure, companies fail all the time--just not often six weeks after being given half a billion dollars of taxpayer money.
