Leftists spinning conservative anger at FBI to claim "GOP wants to defund *police*; nah, just corrupt FBI

The Left is spinning wildly to offset conservative anger over the FBI raid.  Here's the title of an article in leftist shitpaper Rolling Stone::

The GOP Suddenly Wants to Defund Law Enforcement After Feds Raid Mar-a-Lago

The article notes that GOP lawmakers have resisted calls by the Left to de-fund police, but "suddenly" want to de-fund the FBI.  So according to the Left this is hypocritical.

Let me explain this to any leftists: Despite what you claim, the FBI is NOT a "law-enforcement agency."  Instead for the last 14 years it's been a thug-force used by Democrats to persecute conservatives.

"Wait," I hear Democrats wailing.  "You're obviously lying because from 2017 to 2021 TRUMP was president!  So the FBI couldn't have been persecuting Republicfans or covering for Democrats during THOSE years!  So...neener neener neener!"

Really?  You Dems really think we're all stupid and don't know anything that's not on CNN, eh?  Have you not read that the FBI seized Hunter Biden's laptop in December of 2019?  And have not investigated a single thing on it?  And that just last week FBI director Chris Wray--carefully lying before a congressional committee--refused to say whether the FBI even HAD the laptop?

Now think about that.  Why would he do that, eh?  Because either answer would have started pulling threads the Deep State doesn't want pulled.
