W.H. says biden to visit Saudi. Why? Beg 'em to up oil output. Wait...how can more oil lower gas prices?
Biden is planning to visit Saudi Arabia later this month, according to three administration officials who requested anonymity since the visit has not yet been officially announced.
As the WaPo coyly puts it, "The trip is a remarkable departure" from candidate Porridgebrain's vow to treat that country as a "pariah state." (But then virtue signaling and moral preening tend to bite the preeners in the ass sooner or later.)
According to the Post "The trip follows other efforts by his administration to build ties with the oil-rich nation, to reduce the price of gas in the United States."
Wait...how does the biden regime think "building ties" with Saudi Arabia can have any effect on the price of gasoline in the U.S.? And why do his supporters in the Lying Mainstream Media tacitly agree with that?
Do you suppose "building ties" is just Media bullshitspeak for "we're gonna beg the Saudis to produce more oil"? Cuz according to Democrats and their media supporters, producing more oil could not *possibly* lower gas prices, because there is NO relationship at all between daily oil production, demand and the price of oil, eh?
(For Democrats and young Americans: 99.5% of all gasoline comes from oil.)
(For those Democrats who still haven't made the connection: the fact above means that when the price of oil increases, the price of gasoline follows.)
Democrat pols and regime advisors: "Absolutely. It's just silly to think those things might be connected! Because if we admitted that increasing oil production ("supply") would reduce the price of gasoline, that would logically mean that...um...that...uh...reducing oil production would...um... would...uh...(whispers) might increase gas prices. And of course our faaabulous policies would NEVAH be intended to INcrease the price of gasoline! (Unless our plan was to do that, of course, to Stop Global Warming! sorry..."climate change"). So we're gonna go with 'there is no relationship at all'' between the daily supply of oil and gasoline prices! And since we all went to Hahvahd or Yale you must trust us!"
Okay, then tell us--exactly--how you lying sons-of-bitches think "building ties with Saudi Arabia" will reduce the price of gasoline if NOT by betting them to increase their oil production, eh? Cuz it doesn't seem that "building ties" has any other relevant meaning. But do take your choice.
Democrat pols: "Um...uh... Gosh, we'd like to stay and answer ALL your questions, but our government jet is waiting to take us to our next event, so call our office next week and our staff will have ALL the answers for you! Cuz we're reeeally sharp when it comes to economix! [sic]"
WaPo "reporter:" "The White House did not respond to a request for comment."
Democrats: "Dis not true! Dis FAKE NEWS! Disinformation! You stooge for Putin ! Our Dear Leeeder nevah say our good friend Saudi Arabia was 'pariah'!! Deer Leeder have lots of diplomatic experience, so he way too savvy to say anyt'ing like dat!"
Ah, I see. Well in that case you need to correct your regime's supporters at Jeff Bezos's rag, the Washington Post. Cuz here's what they wrote just two days ago:
“We were going to in fact make them pay the price, and make them in fact the pariah that they are,” Biden said of Saudi Arabia during a Democratic debate in 2019."
Democrat pols: "Gosh, look at the time! We'll look into that claim and you can be sure the Post will issue a correction by tomorrow. And you can expect a knock on your door at 5a.m. tomorrow from our friends at the FBI. Ta-ta!"
