Lemire is onto something significant here.  See, the regime can lie shamelessly, brazenly, about the true inflation rate, because no one can prove they're lying.  Even the experts disagree on the exact number.  Plus it omits the prices of food and energy--arguably the two greatest expenses for many families after rent or mortgage payments--so the "real" inflation rate is way higher than the CPI.

Same with the number of illegal aliens the regime has allowed to enter the U.S. and then promptly flown all over the country.  The Mainstream Media ignores it, and only Fox viewers get video of the masses crossing the river.  As far as most Americans are concerned, the problem doesn't really exist.

But in sharp contrast to the regime's ability to lie about inflation and illegal invaders, the price of a gallon of gasoline is in their face--in lighted numbers two feet high--dozens of times during the average commute.  And the regime can't do a g-ddamn thing about it!....which is driving 'em crazy.

Ron Klain didn't give a damn about the price of gasoline when it first started to skyrocket--due to biden's crippling of oil exploration.  See, the Media ignored the rising price until the outcry from residents of flyover states couldn't be ignored any longer.  In fact, Democrats celebrated high fuel prices as a key part of their plan to (supposedly) "fight Global Warming ooohh, sorry: "climate change.".

Oh sure, Klain knew that ordinary Americans outside the sacred fu*king beltway were paying what those Americans viewed as a lot more for the gasoline they had to use to get to work and stores.  But his elite friends in NYC and inside the DC beltway didn't drive much--hell, many were gruberment employees who rode in chauferred government cars, so who would care, eh?

Besides, even folks in flyover country were only paying an extra $1,200 a year--just $100 per month, so someone like Klain or Obozo or biden or schumer wouldn't even notice that difference, eh?  And if the elites don't notice a higher price, it's not really a problem for the regime, right?

I mean, almost all the flyover states voted for Trump anyway, so Klain couldn't care less about higher costs for residents of GOP-voting states.  Well, except for the six battleground states that won the election for shithead--by a comfortable total of...oooohhh, wait: just 80,000 votes?

So NOW Klain's worried about the price of gas. Not because it hurts American citizens, but because it could hurt...Democrats.

For the past several months a White House-led team of economic specialists has [examined] gasoline prices and the intricate market forces pushing them relentlessly upward.

Ah yes, "intricate market forces."  Implies that Democrat policies had no effect at all.  But the sentence shows readers that the White House is really concerned about YOU, citizen!  Uh-huh.

White House chief of staff Ron Klain has grown particularly absorbed by the issue, checking the average price of a gallon of gas every morning. He's lamented that it's the one item everyone knows the cost of because gas station billboards are so ubiquitous throughout the country.

And there you have it:  The regime can't control the fact that every gas station declares the price it sells gas for--indeed, is required by law to so declare--in big lighted numbers.  So the regime can't lie about that, which takes away a huge weapon they have in every other debate, eh?  Even their slobbering supporters, the Mainstream Media, can't cover the regime's ass on this.  

All the regime can do is bleat that high gas prices are due to "Putin's price hike," as every Mainstream Media outlet has dutifully read off the talking points.  And of course Democrats believe it--because every single media outlet has said it's true.

The Dems must be hoping the GOP won't start telling voters that biden canceled three rounds of oil leasing, canceled drilling permits already issued, and has put millions of acres of federal waters off-limits to exploration--which is one of the reasons the regime quietly established the "Disinformation  Governance Board," so they could delete any such attempts to show voters the facts.

But not to worry, Democrats: Your leaders still have tons of powerful election-deciders on their side: Dominion and 2000 mules and mail-in voting and cops in Dem-ruled cities to keep poll-watchers far away from the actual counting.  So you can expect your party will do way better than the average for mid-term elections.  

So just shut up and buy one of those faaabulous electric cars you've been seeing on duh TV, citizen.

And quit complaining about paying a lousy $1,200 more per year for gasoline.  It's GOOD that you can't buy as much gas as before prices went up, cuz dat saves duh planet.  Got it?

Come on folks... During the 2020 campaign Biden promised to raise gas prices, claiming this was absolutely necessary to get Americans to transition to dat FAAABULOUS Green Energy.   This was a key part of his CAMPAIGN...

...and is the only campaign promise he's kept.  The Democrats WANTED THIS.  High gas prices are a deliberate policy.

So it's just insane to allow the Dems to now get away with clutching their pearls and wailing "Oh, this is just horrible!".
