A serious suggestion

Surely everyone realizes by now that the Democrats and RINOs are fixated on effectively disarming law-abiding Americans.  The main methods at the moment are outlawing 5.56mm semi-auto rifles, and magazines able to hold more than 10 or 6 or 3 rounds, depending on which asshole in congress is talking at that moment.

Dems and RINOs blythely ignore the actual facts on the relative harm done by various weapons, because they can't pass a law banning all guns quite yet.  So instead they'll start by outlawing "scary black assault rifles" and "extended magazines."

Or as EVERY Mainstream Media whore is saying (following the Dem talking points), "Weapons of war!!!!"  (Hint: A 9mm semi-auto handgun is NOT by any stretch of the imagination a "weapon of war," but many would be outlawed by the grabbers.)

So here's an idea to put the rat-bastard Dems on the defensive for a change:  Every conservative should write their congresswhore and senators and suggest that the GOP introduce an amendment to every “gun-control” bill introduced in congress. This amendment would say this:

Part 1: “Because we in congress do not have or deserve more rights than the people we represent, it shall be illegal for any security detail of any member of congress who votes to limit in any way the right to keep and bear arms, in any fashion, to be armed with more than six-shot revolvers. No member of any congressperson’s security detail will be permitted to carry or have access to semi-automatic or fully automatic weapons. 

Part 2: “Violation of this law shall carry an automatic $100,000 fine and a prison term of five years. 

Part 3: “Any member of congress who is found to have permitted or encouraged any members or supervisors of his or her security detail, or to have allowed his or her staff members to permit or encourage, violation of part 1 above shall be fined $250,000 and imprisoned for five years.

YES, I KNOW IT WON’T PASS, but the point is to put the gun-grabbing, virtue-signaling, hypocritical Democrats (who really do want to confiscate all privately-owned guns eventually) in the position of having to make their vote against this amendment part of the official public record.  It wouldd reveal Democrats and RINOS for the hypocrites they clearly are.
