If you've been waiting for some good news, this may be what you've been waiting for

As some of you may have noticed, from the outbreak of the Chinese virus until April of this year, the official Narrative pushed by the NY Times, Washington Post, MSNBC and CNN talking heads was that the virus could not possibly have come from a government lab in Wuhan, China.  Further, all media outlets growled that anyone who claimed the virus had been modified in a lab was a crazy conspiracy theorist.

This Narrative was ruthlessly pushed despite the fact that actual genetic sequence of the virus showed it was virtually impossible for it to have naturally undergone the five genetic mutations between its original form (which didn't affect humans) and the form it now had, because no intermediate forms containing just one, then two, then three (etc) of the mutations have been found.  Of course it was hard for non-scientists to understand that reasoning, so almost no one could refute the Narrative.

But around the beginning of April of this year something very odd happened: Over the span of about a week, suddenly every Mainstream Media outlet reversed its prior position:  Suddenly the Media was totally on-board with idea that the virus was almost certainly modified in a lab to infect humans.

What could possibly have changed the minds of all the editors and producers of the Democrat Narrative in such a short time, and almost simultaneously?

Try this: Chinese-language anti-communist media are buzzing with rumors that in mid-February China's vice minister of state security, Dong Jingwei (董经纬) defected to the U.S, flying to the U.S. from Hong Kong.

Dong was a longtime official in China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS).  He'd been promoted to vice minister in April 2018.  His publicly available background suggests he headed "counterintelligence" i.e., spy-catching.  If the stories that he's defected are true, he'd be the highest-level defector in the history of the People’s Republic of China.

So what evidence do we have that this vice-minister actually defected?

According to a former Chinese foreign ministry official who defected after the 1989 Tiananmen massacre, during secretary of state Tony Blinken's rather unusual meeting with Chinese officials in Alaska in March, Chinese officials themselves raised the topic of Dong's defection.  Reportedly both China’s foreign minister and communist party foreign affairs boss demanded that the Americans return Dong.

But if Dong has actually defected, it's looking increasingly likely that Blinken had no idea what the Chinese were talking about-- because the defection was NOT handled by the CIA or FBI, but by a little-known intel agency called the Defense Intelligence Agency.  Moreover, the DIA had handled the defection without telling either the FBI, CIA or state department about it.  Our own SecState didn't know about the defector!

Let that sink in for a minute.  If that's true, the implications are staggering, because it likely means the DIA believes one or more of those three corrupt agencies have been penetrated by Chinese spies at the highest level--something that seems extremely likely.

Of course the usual talking heads and China defenders urge caution, saying this may all be disinformation by "anti-communist activists"--which is certainly possible.

The State Department hasn't commented on the matter in any way, but typically doesn't comment on defections.

Corruption is rife in China’s state-directed economy, and may have touched Dong. Two of his friends --including the previous vice-minister of state security--have been imprisoned for corruption.

Some Chinese-language news reports abroad say Dong's photos have been deleted from the Chinese search engine Baidu.  If true that would lend credence to the defection claims.

Two weeks ago a pro-Trump website (Red State) reported a high-level defector from China, without naming Dong.  The report said the defector had told the Defense Intelligence Agency that Beijing is covering up biological warfare research at the Wuhan lab.  If so that would explain why all U.S. media suddenly switched from "couldn't possibly have come from a lab" to "came from the Wuhan lab" in a matter of days.

This sudden switch, by itself, increases the probability that the story is true, since it's hard to imagine another explanation for the sudden switch to the new Narrative.

Rumor is that Dong has provided DIA with a wealth of information:
    Early pathogenic studies of the virus;
    Chinese models predicting how the virus would spread and damage the US and the world;
    Financial records showing which organizations funded "gain of function" research on the virus
    Names of U.S. citizens working for the Chinese government;
    Names of Chinese spies working in the US or attending US universities;
    Names of U.S. officials and businessmen who’ve taken money from the Chinese government
    Details of meetings US government officials had (perhaps unwittingly) with Chinese spies and members of Russia’s SVR
    How the Chinese government gained access to beyond-Top-Secret CIA cables identifying Chinese nationals working for the agency, leading to the execution or imprisonment of virtually every one of those Chinese working with the CIA;

Dong also has provided DIA with a copy of the hard drive on Hunter Biden’s laptop, meaning that the Chinese government knows about Hunter’s and Joe's business dealings with Chinese entities--information that could be used to influence the biden*harris administration's decisions on China.

According to sources, Dong told DIA debriefers that at least a third of Chinese students attending US universities are PLA assets.  He also said many of the students are here under pseudonyms, since many of these students are the children of high-ranking military and party leaders.

Initial reports of a high-ranking defector were ridiculed as absurd by CIA apologists.  But now the actual name of the defector has been published--in an anti-Trump, CIA-friendly blog.

If most of this is true, it's likely that the CIA, FBI and probably the biden*harris regime may be starting to get worried.
