Biden's* nominee for Sec. of Education says his department will force schools to allow males to compete as girls
The day after Biden* (NMP) took office (literally), I posted a summary of the executive orders this doofus signed on his first afternoon. One of 'em was a cunning order that on first glance looked TOTALLY innocuous:
Order barring discrimination based on *gender identity* or sexual orientation.
"Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports."Note the cunning mislead in the opening: "Children should be able to learn..." Hey, who could argue with that? That's the universal political technique: Lead with unquestionably accepted phrases.
But think for a second: what "children" would "worry about whether they will be denied access to the restroom [or] locker room," hmm?
Not kids you might call "traditional boys or girls." Instead, this order is directing that trannies be allowed to use any facility they wish...but without using the specific term "transgender", since that might well cause a few million "traditional" Democrat-voting parents of non-trans kids to feel they've been sold out.
Again, note that the ORDER doesn't use ANY term that would hint at its real intent. Even the single action-directing sentence begins with a head-fake: "Children should be able to learn..." Yeah, sure, of course.
But Team Biden* isn't finished yet. Far from it. Go back and re-read the last three words of the only action-directing sentence: "...OR school sports." What do you think is the intended effect of those three words? If you think they have no effect you're too damn stupid to breathe.
This phrase will FORCE every school to allow boys pretending to be girls to compete against real girls. There is no other purpose of that phrase.
Wait... if you're a Biden* voter, and you're convinced this is NOT what these words are ordering, tell the rest of us what you think the purpose of those three words is. What I expect Democrat partisans to say is, "That innocent 3-word phrase couldn't possibly be used to allow boys to compete against girls!! They don't mean anything at all. They're just...there to pad the word count!!" Sure. You bet.
SO...for any of you who thought I was being too cynical, too (sob!) harsh on this POS: Meet Miguel Cardona, Biden's* nominee for Secretary of Education.
When asked during his confirmation hearing--three times--if he would order schools to let males compete in girls' sports, each time he replied with some variation of "yes." Here's the actual exchange:
Senator: "What do you think in general about boys running in girls track meets, like they've been doing in Connecticut?"
Biden nominee for Secretary of Education, Miguel Cardona: "I think it's critically important to respect the rights of all students, including students who are transgender, and that they are afforded the opportunities that every other student has to participate in extracurricular activities."
Senator: "Do you worry about having boys running in girls track meets? Do you think it's fair?"
Biden nominee for Secretary of Education, Miguel Cardona: "I recognize and appreciate the concern and the frustrations that are expressed. I think it's appropriate for, it's the legal responsibility of schools to provide opportunities for students to participate in activities and this includes students who are transgender."
Senator: "So you don't have a problem then with boys running in the girls track meet, swimming meets, name it. You're okay then with boys competing with girls?"
Biden nominee for Secretary of Education, Miguel Cardona: "I believe schools should offer the opportunity for students to engage in extracurricular activities, even if they are transgendered. That is their right."
SO...for those of you who thought my warning about the real, intended effect of Biden's* executive order about trannies was wrong, was harsh...wanna re-think your position? Are you willing to admit you were wrong? That Biden has willingly, intentionally FORCED schools to allow males to compete against women in girls' sports?
Or would you rather double down, and claim yet again that Biden didn't intend this result?
