NY Times editor who sneered that the "cancel culture" wasn't real...is cancelled by the Times
Unless you read the NY Times you probably never heard of Lauren Wolfe. She was an editor at the Times. Total communist/liberal/Democrat. Joked that the "cancel culture"--the Left's howling demand that companies fire anyone the Left doesn't like--is a myth.
Really? Tell that to the hundreds who've been fired for making a comment critical of trannies, or homosexuals, or...well, anyone the Left loves.
So it is with great sadness that we report that Lauren Wolfe was fired by the Times a few days ago. Now that Lauren is suddenly jobless, she's finally realized that the "cancel culture" is real. And amazingly, NOW she's wailing that it's all just so UNFAIR! I mean, after all, she's got bills to pay! How is she gonna afford $5 soy lattes at Starbucks, huh?
Ah. Four days ago she sneered that the "cancel culture" wasn't real. Now you're wailing that it's all so unfair--at least unfair to you, though I'll wager you still don't have a whit of sympathy for any conservative who got fired, eh?
Wow, you still don't quite get it.
The right thing for Lauren to do--which is why she won't do it--would be to write a long letter to every Mainstream Media rag, saying how wrong she was for sneering that the "cancel culture" was a myth; for sneering at people who were fired because of the howling demands from her Leftist mob, and apologizing for being such a sneering, smirking leftist, and asking her former comrades to re-think their howling demands that people they don't like be fired.
But don't hold your breath waiting.
Wait, it gets even more unreal: Twitter users have found a way to blame the "cancel culture" on...wait for it... *Republicans*! If that seems unbelievable, take a look:
