Just declassified and released FBI interview of Chris Steele proves "Russia dossier" was Hilliary hoax
While you were distracted by the virus or something, a huge cache of FBI documents was declassified and released. You may have missed it cuz the Mainstream Media chose to ignore it. One of these docs was particularly revealing: A copy of the FBI's interview with Christopher Steele in September of 2017.
Of course if you paid attention to the beautifully-executed coup by the Democrats and the Mainstream Media you know who Steele is, right?
On the slim chance that you were too busy raising your kids in 2018 and 2019 to have paid attention to what seemed trivial, Steele was a former member of British intel (like our CIA) who delivered the infamous "Trump dossier" to the FBI.
That dossier claimed Trump had cavorted with Russian prostitutes in a Moscow hotel and that the encounter had been videotaped by the KGB, or some such. Recall the "Russia dossier" now? Steele was the guy who gave it to the FBI. (Later senator John McCain also gave the FBI a copy. Jus' doin' Hilliary's work for her, eh?)
The info in the dossier all turned out to be false, but it accomplished what Hilliary wanted.
Oh wait...I hear you saying "How can you accuse the sainted Hilliary? You don't have a shred of evidence that she was involved! This is fake!"
Really?
Steele was paid $150,000 for the "dossier." The money came from a DC law firm (Perkins, Coie) hired by Hilliary. But the real smoking gun comes from the newly-released FBI interview with Steele, in which Steele admitted he was actually NOT the author of the dossier's Narrative, and that instead the Narrative was given to him by a close Clinton associate, Cody Shearer, who wrote it in April of 2016 as a way to distract from the emerging, damaging story about Hilliary's emails.
In case you've forgotten, that was when Hilly ordered her top aides at State to email beyond-Top-Secret cables to the private, unsecure, non-government email server Hilliary had installed in her Chappaqua mansion.
Steele even admitted that part of his motive for leaking the dossier--which formed the basis for the accusation of "Russia collusion"--in the fall of 2016 was to distract from the email scandal he feared was hurting Hilly's chances of winning the election.
Steele told agents that longtime Clinton associate Cody Shearer wrote the Russian dossier in April of 2016, and used a senior State Department official named Jonathan Winer to get it to Steele, who then passed it to the FBI as his own research.
In a 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post, Winer said he was friends with Steele, and that he'd given Steele "a memo" from Cody Shearer.
Democrats used the "Russia dossier" to sic Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team of attack dogs to "prove" collusion. That fiasco ended up costing taxpayers $26 million and finding no evidence at all of collusion.
People paying attention knew the Narrative being pushed by the Dems and their Media allies was fake. Now, after keeping the charges of collusion bubbling in the headlines for almost all of Trump's tenure, the FBI was finally forced to release documents proving the entire thing was a hoax, paid for by Hilliary and covered up by the corrupt FBI director for as long as possible.
