In a perfect symbol of the nation's direction, lights go out on the Washington Monument

Normally the Washington Monument is brightly lit year-round.  Two days ago, the lights went off.  No explanation yet, and if one was issued it's likely few Americans would believe it.

As some wag put it, this is the first application of the great Biden/Harris energy plan for this nation. 

Perfect symbolism for the direction of this country since the stolen election.
