Expert warns about colder winter "in the eastern U.S."--due to the heat-trapping effect of CO2

With all the conservative accounts being closed hourly on social media (not that I care), here's a "ScienceNews" article to brighten your day.  See, I understand many of y'all have been worried sick about Global Warming.  You're worried because the Experts say it's being caused by...YOU.

Of course you're only causing it if you're a citizen of a developed nation, of course.

Anyway, here's the relief-inducing headline:

Wandering polar vortex may cause a wild, snowy winter

High above the North Pole, the polar vortex, a fast-spinning whirl of frigid air, is doing a weird shimmy that may soon bring cold and snowy weather to the Eastern U.S., Northern Europe and East Asia for weeks on end, meteorologists say.

So that's like, um...most of the high-latitude northern hemisphere, eh?

While it's not unusual for the polar vortex to act up, this particular reconfiguration — wandering around and possibly splitting in two — may be tied to climate change in the rapidly warming Arctic, said Judah Cohen, director of seasonal forecasting at [name of Cohen's company of Experts].

So what's your expert conclusion?

"Expect a more wintery back-half of winter here in the Eastern U.S. than what we had in the first half," Cohen told Live Science.

The Arctic is heating up faster than any other region in the world. As a result, sea-ice cover there is shrinking — in September and December 2020, the Arctic sea-ice cover shrank to its second-lowest and third-lowest minimum on record for those months, respectively, according to the National Snow and Ice Data Center.

The warmer-than-usual temperatures in the Arctic are likely throwing the polar vortex out of whack, Cohen said.  Cohen and colleagues have suggested that less Arctic sea-ice cover means there's more moisture from the sea migrating inland over normally dry Siberia. This moisture then turns into snow, which reflects heat back into space and is making Siberia colder than normal; that in turn disrupts a thermal band in the troposphere extending over Eurasia.

Wait...did he say..."colder than normal"?  "Moisture turning to snow"?  What is this "snow" of which you speak?  Cuz five years ago da Experts were saying "Your children won't know what snow IS!"

In any case, once again we have CO2--released by you Americans by driving and using natural gas or oil to heat your homes and provide hot water, and by driving your cars when you should be enjoying the thrill of public transit, and because CO2 is a so-called "greenhouse gas," it make the planet warmer.  Which actually makes it colder.  Hey, makes perfect sense.

Ya know, I'm sure glad y'all changed your screaming warning from "global warming" to "climate change."  Cuz if y'all hadn't done that, a few millions of ordinary folks might think y'all were just running a huge scam to get the U.S. to stop using oil, gas and electricity made from gas or coal.

I know, that's just Crazy Talk, eh?
