Five-thousand five-hundred and ninety-three pages, with half a TRILLION in pork/waste/payoff

Congress-creeps love to spend your money.  Even better when they can get millions of Americans-- impoverished by losing their jobs or small business due to Democrat-governor-imposed shutdowns--to eagerly support a "relief law" spending a staggering $900 Billion, so families can get $600 checks.

The bloated, pork-filled "relief" law fills 5,593 pages.  And congressional "leaders" gave members 6 hours to "read the bill" before they'd be called on to pass it.  (By comparison, the monstrous Obamacare bill was a mere 2000 pages, and no one read that one before passing it either.) 

And of course (of course) this "relief" bill was a must-pass bill.  Gotta get those "relief checks" out to suffering voters!  Along with $100 Million to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

And $19 million to Vietnam.

Wait, did I say $19 million?  My bad.  The real number is $170 million.  And almost $200 MILLION to Bangladesh.  Wow, some congresscreep made a few million in kickback on both those insertions, eh?

• $169,739,000 to Vietnam, including $19 million to remediate dioxins (page 1476).
• Unspecified funds to "continue support for not-for-profit institutions of higher education in Afghanistan accessible to both women and men in a coeducational environment" (page 1477)
• $198,323,000 to Bangladesh (page 1485)
• $130,265,000 to Nepal for "development and democracy programs" (page 1485)
• Pakistan: $15 million for "democracy programs" and $10 million for "gender programs" (page 1486)
• Sri Lanka: Up to $15 million "for the refurbishing of a high endurance cutter," which is a type of patrol boat (page 1489)
• $505,925,000 to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama to "address factors that contribute to the migration of unaccompanied, undocumented minors to the United States" (pages 1490-1491)
• $461,375,000 to Colombia for programs related to counternarcotics and human rights (pages 1494-1496).  Let me say that again: almost half a BILLION dollars of YOUR money.  What does that money actually DO (other than provide kickbacks to corrupt congresscreeps)?
  
• $75 million to the "Caribbean Basin Security Initiative" (page 1497)
• $33 million "for democracy programs for Venezuela" (page 1497).  What, exactly, will that money be spent on? 
• Unspecified amount to Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Curacao, and Trinidad and Tobago "for assistance for communities in countries supporting or otherwise impacted by refugees from Venezuela" (page 1499). 
• $132,025,000 "for assistance for Georgia" (the country) (page 1499). 
• $453 million "for assistance for Ukraine" (page 1500). 
• 

Didja catch that cool $1,482,000,000 (that's $1.48 BILLION dollars) supposedly "to support implementation of the Indo-Pacific Strategy an the Asia Reassurance Initiative Act of  2018"?  WOW!

Wow, compared to all that corrupt crap, giving $10 million to the Muslim government of Pakistan to educate Muslims on the benefits of transgender persons is a bargain!

Of course the corruptocrats told ya about all these key provisions they were negotiating to help you get relief from the invading virus, right?  Oh, the "relief" law also continues an amnesty/asylum program that allows members of MS-13 to bring other gang members into the U.S. permanently.  Is that great or what?

I suspect it will take a couple of months before conservatives find all the payoffs and other ghastly, corrupt provisions of this piece of crap. 

BTW, to get an idea how much pure PORK there is in this POS, if we assume there are about 250 million households in the United States, giving $600 to each household would cost $150 Billion.  Add another $200 Billion for the fraud-riddled "Paycheck Protection Program" that gives millions to favored businesses, and it means the rest of the bill--over half a TRILLION dollars--is some flavor of the porky bullshit listed above.  (For young Americans, "pork" in government means wasteful spending intended to benefit a big donor to a congress-creep or as a payback to his/her donors or supporters.)
