Biden said to be considering president of Soros foundations as his Secretary of Labor
Most Americans know almost nothing about South Africa. And they know even less about the man Obama appointed as our ambassador to that once-prosperous, now miserable, violent country.
Similarly, because the Lying Democrat Media steadfastly refused to ask Joe Biden a single meaningful question during the entire presidential campaign, most Americans who aren't Washington insiders don't know much about his and Harris's plans for this country. So here's a glimpse:
Biden apparently intends to appoint a man called Patrick Gaspard, to his cabinet. Gaspard was Barack Obama's political director, and Obama then appointed Gaspard to be U.S. ambassador to South Africa, which has been ruled by black communists--a party called the African National Congress--for 30 years.
Three years ago South Africa's ruling party announced a plan they cunningly called "land reform." Of course leftists have a habit of calling thuggish, dictatorial programs "reform," and this was no exception. The so-called "reform" was confiscating farms from white farmers, and giving the land to their black supporters.
If you're not a communist, this should strike you as a terrible idea, but the ANC's "reform" was even worse: they would seize the farms without compensating the owners. The communist ruling party called this "land reform" because that sounds so much better than "stealing."
No sane person thought or thinks this was a good idea. But Patrick Gaspard thought it was a great idea. As the former ambassador to South Africa, Gaspard wrote an op-ed in the U.K.'s Sunday Times newspaper endorsing this and sucking up to the corrupt, thuggish, criminally incompetent ANC government:
"The South African government under president Cyril Ramaphosa is talking about accelerating land reform -- but in a way that seeks to balance property ownership rights guaranteed by the Constitution with the need for more equity and nurture a more broadly shared prosperity."
Notice the soothing, cunning lie in the second line above: "...but in a way that seeks to balance property ownership rights guaranteed by the constitution with..." This is a flat-out lie: There is no balance at all. The communist ANC party was determined to seize farms owned by whites. Mentioning that nation's constitution, and "property rights," was just a smokescreen--soothing, glowing words to make it appear that the confiscation wasn't what it actually was.
Again, Patrick Gaspard wrote an op-ed praising this outrage. He supports it. It's who he is.
One more detail about Gaspard: On December 13, 2017, George Soros named Gaspard president of his Open Society Foundations.
You may think that's just unpossible--that if this were true you would have seen it on the news instead of learning about it from some anonymous blogger. In you're skeptical, click on the link above. It goes to the website of the Open Society Foundations [sic] and see for yourself.
One day ago Gaspard announced he would resign from the Soros foundations "to continue his work against oppression." Here's the quote:
“Fundamental social change doesn’t customarily occur in a revolutionary moment. Instead, what is needed is the partnership of activists, government, and the nonprofit sector, collaborating over time and space in unity and solidarity. This is what I worked to do at Open Society. My commitment now will be to re-enter the world of politics and ideas, where I can continue the struggle against oppression everywhere.”
"...the partnership of activists...collaborating over time and space, in unity and solidarity." Sounds so...so...majestic, eh? Socialists, communists, Democrats and BLM will love it. And ya know what would be a great Democrat win over "oppression"?
Land reform, citizen. Way too many white-owned farms in this country, eh?
Wheeee! Enjoy, comrades.
