Claims for unemployment benefits fell to lowest level in almost 50 YEARS! Media yawns, credits Obama

When Trump made the excellent decision to reverse 40 years of absurd tariff imbalances with China, the Lying Media screamed to high heaven that his decision was gonna absolutely destroy the U.S. economy!!!!!

News flash:  That didn't happen.  But the Lying Mainstream Media succeeded in their mission: to use the lie--the scare story that Trump was a crazy fanatic--to push another million votes into the Dem column.

Trump's decision was a good one, but the media was able to spin it as a full-blown disaster!!!  So how does the media react to what should be unequivocal good news for the administration?  Buried on page 19 of most Lying Mainstream Media papers was this little one-paragraph blurb:

Initial claims for state unemployment benefits dropped to 192,000 for the week ended April 13, the lowest level since September 1969. 

Unless you're an economist, the significance of that little sentence might not jump out at you.

What it says is that applications for unemployment benefits fell to the lowest level in almost 50 YEARS.

And keep in mind that there are a lot more Americans today than back in 1969, which makes the figure even more impressive.

"Oh, and by the way: Those so-called "tax cuts" Trump pushed through a year ago?  You didn't actually benefit at all.  The whole thing was a "tax scam," as Speaker Pelosi put it.  Mere "crumbs." You just think your paycheck increased, but you can't trust your memory.  We in the Mainstream Media are the only ones you can trust to tell you what really happened.  You need to trust us!
