Top Dem presidential candidate says she wants to eliminate all private health insurance; media ignore

Monday, Kamala Harris appeared on CNN --and called for all private health insurance to be "eliminated."  Instead, she said she favors "Medicare for all"--in which almost all costs would be paid by the federal government--meaning by borrowing from China, or by taxpayers.

Since Private 177 million people currently have private health insurance, and in light of the utter disaster of government's venture into Obamacare and VA hospital care, most people would consider her statement to be extremely radical, and thus worth reporting.

And normally any statement made by Harris--the front-runner for the Democrat presidential nomination--would be fawningly, slobberingly covered by the mainstream lying media.  But in this case ABC and NBC’s shows Tuesday morning said not a single word about her “Let’s eliminate all of that. Let’s move on.”

Only CBS This Morning bothered to even mention it--and then only in a breezy single line, implying that the proposal was no more controversial than the sun shining.  CBS co-host John Dickerson explained, “Kamala Harris says all Americans should have Medicare and it's time to move on from private insurance.”

So...NOT "eliminated," just “move on” from it.  Harris just proposed throwing more than half the country off of plans they're currently comfortable with, and creating a vast new bureaucratic empire to control health care.  Yet the lying media either ignored it altogether, or glossed it over ("it's time to move on from private insurance.").
Imagine the shrieking if a Republican did something that tone-deaf.  But when a Dem does it, the media ignores it.  Cool.

Prediction:  Harris's campaign will try to walk back the call to abolish private health insurance, but will pound away on the benefits of "medicare for all."  Then they won't answer questions about private health insurance.  Of course no reporter will dare to ask such questions.  So her true proposal--to abolish the private insurance policies that cover half of all Americans--will "go down the memory hole," as Orwell put it.

Nice to have a friendly media covering for the top Democrat candidate's pro-socialist statements, eh?
