Street scene in San Francisco

Decades ago I lived near San Francisco.  It was a beautiful place.  Now?  Generous liberal policies (generous with your tax dollars, of course) and a policy of tolerating open injection of illegal drugs and camping on the sidewalk have acted as a magnet for the homeless.  Take a look at one stretch of sidewalk at this link:
