Dems have classic solution for Hawaiian volcano eruption

As the Hawaiian volcanoe continues to erupt, threatening more destruction of homes of poor residents, Democrat leaders Sen Chuck Schumer, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and congressperson Maxine Waters responded by introducing a bill that would outlaw volcanic eruptions.

Schumer noted "We need common-sense laws to limit volcanic eruptions to unpopulated areas, or to states that vote Republican."

Pelosi added "This bill is modeled after our proposal to introduce common-sense laws to reform rules for gun ownership, and we expect today's volcano bill will work just as well."

Congresswoman Waters added "This volcano is Trump's fault, because of all the global warming we've had since he pulled the U.S. out of the Paris climate agreement."
