Yet another dire prediction from the folks who claimed that by year 2000 the UK would rarely see snow

Two days ago the journal "Nature Climate Change" published a report by the Leftists at the University of East Anglia claiming that about a quarter of the Earth's landmass would eventually be drier because of global warming.

Moonbats will wail and moan at this.  But you should know that "scientists" at the University of East Anglia have a terrible record on predictions.  For example, one predicted that because of the secret data (they've refused all requests to let outsiders examine their algorithms) that they claim shows Earth warming dangerously, by the year 2000 kids in the U.K. would rarely see snow.

Literally, the lead guy claimed global warming would soon make snowfall a “a very rare and exciting event.”

“Children just aren’t going to know what snow is,” Dr. David Viner, a scientist with the climatic research unit at the University of East Anglia, told the UK Independent in 2000.  UK Independent eventually deleted the post after a string of harsh winters prompted internet commenters to ridicule the comment--and the theory of AGW.

But you can definitely trust 'em on this latest prediction, citizen.  Cuz, like, they've got PhDs in, like, Science.  And they work for da gruberment, which means they're, like, totally unbiased.

And half of all Americans will look at this article and--understandably knowing nothing about the alleged science behind it--will totally believe it, and regard it as another of the thousands of "scientific studies that prove global warming is caused by humans releasing CO2."
