Professor claims the idea that hard work is more likely to lead to success is a white construct

A professor at  Penn State who teaches public speaking has published a paper claiming that the concept of "meritocracy"--the idea that people are more likely to succeed if they work and study hard--is a "whiteness ideology," merely a white "social construct."

The clear implication is that the idea has no objective validity--that it ain't true.  In particular, she notes that blacks don't believe hard work is particularly useful.

Wow, that explains SO much!

According to her school biography, her research focuses on “whiteness as ideology, the pervasiveness of white privilege, institutional/systemic racism, and critical pedagogy.”  And that she hopes to teach classes on gender studies and white privilege in the future.

These are the people who are teaching your kids.

Oh, here's a pic of this academic brain-trust.  Which also explains a lot.

This gal is hugely into the idea of "white guilt."  What a shock.  Oh, and that everything wrong is the fault of white males.  Again, a shocker.
