A year after Orlando mass murder, gay "activist" claims attack has *brought gays and Muslims together*

If you're like most hard-working, family oriented Americans you don't have time to keep up with all the bizarre things that happen around the world.  But you just might have seen a pic of so-called "radical Islamists" throwing men accused of homosexuality off the roofs of buildings.

The Islamists themselves post these pics on the Net--and there have been scores of 'em.  And if you haven't seen 'em you probably don't want to.  Anyway, since we're here and they're over there, it probably strikes you as ghastly but distant.

By contrast, you'd think that gays in western nations could not possibly be unaware of this.  If true, then logically you'd think that gays would be firmly opposed to fundamental Islam.  Cuz, you know, self-preservation.

That seems pretty logical:  Rational people wouldn't make common cause with a group that wants them all dead, eh?  Ah, but consider that we're talking about the Left here, so all normal logic is void.

Thus it happens that on the anniversary of the cold-blooded murder of 49 mostly-gay people by pro-ISIS activist Omar Mateen last year in Orlando, a gay activist--writing in a national publication for gays--claims that murderous act has actually brought Muslims and gays together, and that they're now united as victims of the real enemy.

Yep, gay activist Scott Simpson actually wrote that the real enemy of both groups is--can you guess?  Sure: Donald Trump.  (Literally "the forces of hatred and bigotry that Donald Trump represents," which seems a distinction without a difference.)

Think about the intellectual contortions it took for Simpson to get there.

Let's review: A Muslim male, who pledged allegiance to ISIS during his murder spree gunned down 49 people and wounded another 53 at a gay nightclub in the name of Allah and Islam.  There are scores of photographed, proven examples of other members of the group to which he pledged allegiance throwing gays off rooftops.  Islamists and Islamic scholars right here in the U.S. have openly called for homosexuals to be executed (really). [1]  So you'd think gays would eventually get the picture that so-called "radical Islam" wants to kill them.

A "hadith" quotes Muhammad himself stating that the punishment for homosexuality is death:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Lot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done." (Sunan Abu Dawud 4462)
Yet a gay leader claims the massacre in Orlando has brought gays and Muslims together.  The stated reason is the claim that both Muslims and gays are routinely brutalized by hate-filled Trump supporters.

There have also been other incidents in the U.S. of Muslims attacking gays:  In June of 2014 a Muslim named Ali Muhammad Brown went on a gay dating app and made a date to meet two gay men at a Seattle gay nightclub. When the pair arrived, Brown gunned them down.

But the first rule of the Left is: get power and keep it.  They want the votes of both gays and Muslims, and to ensure both groups never vote for Republicans.  They know they can't get Muslims to embrace homosexuality, but it's fairly easy to convince gays that Islam poses no real threat to them compared to the ghastly Trump.

Not a bright choice for the gay community, but then does anyone expect rationality and awareness of cause-and-effect from Leftists?

1. In 2013 Dr. Farrokh Sekaleshfar called for homosexuals to be put to death, but he emphasized that the killing must be done in a "compassionate" fashion.  He claimed the death penalty for homosexual acts was an act of love, because it secured the victim a place in Paradise:
You have to be happy for [the person killed] … we believe in an afterlife… and with this sentence, you will be forgiven and you won’t be accountable in the hereafter.
It’s for his own betterment that he leaves. We have to have that compassion for people. With homosexuals, it’s the same. Out of compassion, let’s get rid of them now.
Of course this speech was given far, far away from the offices of the Lying Media, so they couldn't be expected to know about it or take the speaker's points seriously.  Oh wait, that speech was given at the University of Michigan.   Of course there was a wave of outrage from the famously homosexual media, which dominated nightly news for a couple of... Just kidding--not a critical word.  Cuz the media has allied with Islam.
