Sebelius calls for...investigation into failure of Obamacare website??

One of the time-tested ways people respond to otherwise career-ending mistakes is to call for an investigation into why the disaster happened.

That move works because everyone expects that whoever "screwed the pooch" would never call for an investigation into who did the deed.  So the audacity carries the day.

Paging Kathleen Sebelius.

Here's the story from a major "news" network: (go to 4th 'graf)
Obama's secretary of HHS said she is asking the department's inspector general to investigate the contracting process, management, performance and payment issues that may have contributed to the flawed launch of HealthCare.gov.
Now, you really have to stand in total awe of how beautifully the Democrats crafted this defense-- because every report to date says the contract to build the crucial Healthcare.gov website was awarded to a company that has a VP who was Michelle Obama's closest friend in college.

Ah, probably coincidence.

Oh, and did I mention it was awarded without the messy hassle of actually using the customary *bid* procedure?  No?  Ah well, trivial oversight.  Again, probably just a coincidence.

Now, if you believe Sebelius announced this proposal without running it by the White House--and getting clearance to make the announcement--you're too stupid to breathe.

Second:  Does anyone think Obama would have approved the plan if any evidence of...um...shady dealing had somehow avoided destruction?  Of course not.  So if the investigation does take place, the result is a foregone conclusion:  "Everyone did a great job--except for some nameless, faceless munchkin in cubicle D-43, who inadvertently changed a line of code that wrecked the whole thing.  Oh, and he no longer works for the organization, and in fact has taken a long vacation in, uh, Syria.  But when he returns we *promise* we'll let the House Committee on Fuckups interview him--if he makes it back."

But we're not finished yet--not by a long shot.  Obama and his henchmen will sternly, solemnly promise that the investigation will be, like, totally independent, and will have the full support of the White House.  Oh, and "no one will be exempt.  Because this is, like, the totally most transparent administration in the history of the world!"

And once an investigation is *announced* (but never completed), both Obama and Sebelius will *apologetically* refuse to answer any more questions about the disaster because...."We can't comment while the investigation is ongoing."  Count on it.

These moves are as predictable as the sunrise.

One other thing can be predicted with confidence:  The Lying Media will pronounce the Obama administration totally blameless of any mistakes in either the award of the contract or the woeful website mess...including the fact that Obie did not meet one-on-one with Sebelius a single time between July of 2010 and the launch date of October 1st, 2013--a period of three-and-a-half years.

Imagine how the media would be screaming if the Bush administration had done exactly the same things Obozo's team has.  It would be the lead story at every newscast for a year.
