Woke developers proposed to build Wakanda in Senegal

 

On the left is the faaaabulous pitch: A dazzling "Wakanda"-like city, built from scratch in  Senegal, to show the world that Africa would be a paradise except for two centuries of oppression by eeeebil wipipo!

I remember when the developers pitched it.  The woke U.S. Dem-fellating Media positively GUSHED over the idea!  The Dem scam-artists at USAID positively fawned over the concept!  Same with the World Bank.  Dis wuz gonna show how Africa woulda looked wifout duh eeeebil Whitey!

On the right, here's how it's going eight years later.  So what happened to all the money?  Oh, well...there were consultants to pay, and PR people, and artists, and a few pols in Senegal who owned and sold the thousands of totally unique acres the project bought. 

Why no, there were no charges of fraud or graft.  Why do you ask?
