Every picture tells a story, eh?

There's an old saying: "Every picture tells a story."  The pic below tells a staggering story--more than any moronic Democrat "leader" in the U.S. wants you to know.  If you're a conservative and a student of history you already know.  

By contrast, if you're a young American raised by Democrat parents and all you know is what the shitty leftist schools and your leftist parents taught you, you have no idea.  So read on and I'll try to educate ya.

 

When people see two different countries--one free and prosperous, the other ruled by dictators and impoverished--leftists and communists sneer

"It not possible to draw any conclusions from comparing the outcomes of the two forms of governance!  Nope nope nope!  Cuz dey gots two different peoples, right?  Different natural resources!  So if one is wonderfully prosperous and the other is impoverished, one of those factors--or some other--could easily account for the difference!  Yep yep yep!

But in just two cases, peace agreements negotiated to end wars have resulted in dividing what was a single nation before the war down the middle, so the residents in each new half are genetically identical, as are the natural resources.  In scientific terms it's as close to a "controlled experiment" as you can get.

We've seen that happen twice in a single human lifetime: First was the division of Germany into East and West at the end of World War 2 in 1945.  The eastern half was known as East Germany (technically the "GDR" and was totally controlled by the USSR (for young Americans, communists) while West Germany was free.  The historic German capital of Berlin was divided into four zones--three of which, called West Berlin, were under the administrative control of western nations and free, while the Russian-controlled zone--East Berlin--like all of East Germany--was run like every other communist country.

Just ten years after the hugely destructive WW2 ended, West Germany was amazingly prosperous, while East Germany was still bleak, impoverished and utterly oppressed by communist rule.  (Imagine Democrat rule if Dems were the only party allowed and you get an idea.  Oh wait...my siblings thing one-party rule by Democrats would be faaaabulous.)

Between the end of the war and 1961, 3.5 million East Germans fled to West Germany, most by traveling to East Berlin and walking across the border of the Russian-controlled sector, which was allowed by the terms that divided the city at the end of the war.  

By contrast, no one fled to the east. 

By 1961--just fifteen years after WW2 ended--the contrast between the prosperous West and the impoverished, communist-ruled East had become so stark that hundreds of thousands of residents of communist-ruled East Germany were fleeing to the west every year.  So the communists made what was by communist lights a perfectly reasonable decision: they made it illegal for residents of East Germany to leave the country.

Ironically, doing that would show the world even more clearly what utter pieces of shit they were, and how much rational people hate communism, as they ended up having to build a wall right down the middle of Berlin, first with razor wire, then with 16-foot-tall concrete walls.

The communist dictators bleated that the purpose of the wall was to keep the west from invading East Berlin.  No one ever explained why the west would want that miserable place, nor how the western powers could do that when Berlin was 100 miles inside East Germany (so would require a full invasion covering 100 miles).  

It was classic communism, classic totalitarian mind-set: "We refuse to let duh world see dat lots of OUR pipo--duh ones we OWN and rule--are fleeing!  So we gon' make it impossible to do dat!  Yep yep yep!  An' we kin doo dat cuz we run things!  An' if yew object, we'll throw yew in prison!"  And they did.

Even more amusing was that the communists ensured that their propaganda outlets in all small nations pushed the lie that the purpose of the wall was to keep the west from invading, instead of to keep people from fleeing.  They had to prevent the non-aligned nations from seeing the reality of the contrast between the attractive, prosperous west and the ghastly, impoverished East Germany, which was particularly obvious as one gazed across the dividing line in Berlin between the western and Russian sectors.

As part of the Plan, the communists who ruled East Germany cleared a 100-yard swath on their side of the wall, fenced by razor wire.  In many places they buried land mines, which killed a thousand or so.  Of course that could still be said to be defensive.  What the commies could NOT disguise was border guards were ordered to shoot anyone in the zone fleeing to the west.  And they did, shooting hundreds as they tried to flee. 

With the wall built, mines planted and guards ordered to kill anyone fleeing, escape attempts dropped dramatically.  But still every MONTH a few desperate residents of East Germany or East Berlin would still try to escape to the West using other methods.  One family built a hot-air balloon by sewing sheets together, and made it.  Some dug tunnels up to two football fields long, others swam across rivers.  Many didn't: make it.  Those killed outside Berlin weren't photographed, but in Berlin itself most of the daring efforts were filmed.

As noted, many of the thousand or so escape attempts in Berlin were photographed, and there are many websites showing those.  But most of the photo sites have deliberately scrubbed any narrative of who and what happened.  That's intentional.

Because WW2 was still fresh in American minds in 1961, and the U.S. Mainstream Media hadn't yet become totally leftist, they actually published the dramatic photos--by the hundreds.  But slowly most of the U.S. media became apologists for communism, and no more comparisons were ever made between the prosperity of West Germany and the poverty and oppression of the communist East Germany.

Populations were from the same gene pool, shared the same history before the split, same climate and natural resources--yet one of the halves was prosperous while the other was impoverished.  What could possibly account for the difference, eh? 

If you're a young American you never heard a word about any of this.  That's absolutely intentional.  The Mainstream Media has sold you out, which should make you mad as hell.  But since you don't know ANYTHING about any of this, you have no reason to think they're not on your side.  If you love freedom, the Media is not on your side.

Back to our story:  By 1989--after 44 years of communist rule, and 28 years of the monstrous wall--the people of East Germany had had enough, and residents of East Berlin began to tear down the hated wall.  

The people of West Germany rejoiced at the reunification.  And immediately a then-pretty star of the Young Communist Party of East Germany joined the most popular West German political party--and eventually rose to rule the reunified nation.  That wasn't an accident.  Her name was Angela Merkel, and she'd later sell out reunified Germany by allowing millions of "immigrants" from Africa into the country, and then force German workers to pay to give every one of them free housing and thousands of dollars of cash every month.

Whoa, sound familiar?

Democrats:  "Why yew upset, citizen?  Saint Obama and duh wunnerful Bribem were totally compassionate, jus' like duh faaabulously compassionate Angela in Germany!  See, allowing millions of 'migrants' into yo' country--with no vetting or control--iz reeeally a guuud thing!  Cuz...reasons!"

So how's that worked out for Germany, eh?

You don't wanna know.  Every week a few more German girls are raped and murdered (or merely repeatedly stabbed) by African "migrants."  The rapists and killers are given a slap on the wrist--literally a year or two in prison--then released to do it again.  Mere stabbers are released wifout no punishment at ALL, cuz duh defense attorneys say dey mentally ill, an' demand dey not be put in prison or a mental institution, jus' like here.  And corrupt leftist judges refuse to allow the government to deport the bastards--which allows the socialist government to claim "We TRIED to deport him, but duh court wudn't let us!"

SO...this brings us back to the photo at the top--the SECOND example of what was once one nation--Korea--divided in half by a negotiated end to a war, with half now ruled by the communists and the other half with freedom.  As with Germany, one homogenous genetic group with matching natural resources.  A "controlled experiment" that would ONCE AGAIN eventually show people with functioning brains the difference between communism and freedom.

Now: if you looked at the photo at the top, you probably noticed that the north half of the Korean peninsula was almost entirely dark, while the south half was bright with light.  Does that tell you anything?

Well, most people like to have lights at night, eh?  So for duh North to be almost entirely dark, that should tell you...something, eh?  But what?

Ask your kids what THEY think it means.  There's a good chance they'll bleat that it means the pipo in North Korea are "doing their part to fight Climate Change."  See, dey know that to have lights at night requires--wait for it--electricity!  An' since solar don't work at night, dat limits your choices to nuclear (no nuclear powerplants in North Korea), hydro or--GASP!!--carbon fuels!!!  

Ohhh, duh inhumanity!

But most adults know that the real reason North Korea is dark at night is that they don't have the money to buy coal or gas to run powerplants--except for the capital city, of course.  Gotta light the entire capital, cuz if duh dictator only allowed enuf electricity to light his palace, duh pipo might be...a bit miffed, eh?

SO...just as the division of Germany into two halves--with a matching population and resources--allowed the world to see that the ONLY difference between the prosperous West and the ghastly East was the communist government, Korea gives us exactly the same demonstration:  One homogenous people, same natural resources, but the South is prosperous while the North is impoverished.  The only difference is communist rule versus freedom.

And yet most American school kids either won't understand the implications of the pic, or will actually praise the rulers of the North for "fighting to reduce Climate Change."

So seriously, show your kids the pic and ask 'em what they think it means.

Of course you won't, cuz...you're too busy.  Gotta pay yo' taxes to support duh po' "migrants" bribem and Obozo allowed to flood the U.S, eh?  Cuz unvetted immigration iz guuuud, citizen.  Just ask Angela Merkel.
