A reporter asks Minneapolis residents what they think about the fraud. "Whut fraud?"

Reporter David Marcus went to Minnesota expecting to find anger over billions of dollars stolen from three government programs, but instead found an attitude that theft either didn’t happen, or is no big deal.

Marcus asked one Minneapolis resident what she thought about the massive fraud involving Somali “daycare centers, autism treatment businesses and “Feed Our Future.”  Her response?

"It’s hard to care much about it when ICE is disappearing Somalis on the streets."

Marcus says most people he spoke with about the issue--or tried--simply shut down at the mention of the topic.  Most said some variation of "We don’t talk about that."

“Hey did you hear about the fraud?”  MN voter: “You mean the thing Republicans are making up?  None of it’s true.  If it was true our local news would have reported it.  It’s just MAGA racism against Somalis.”

And it goes beyond just the massive fraud in child meals, housing and autism treatment.  The state’s legalized marijuana program is also a disaster because of DEI.  The governing principle was to put people the state called "special equity applicants" in charge.

Local media--still amusingly called “newz”--has devoted 90% of its time to screaming about ICE enforcement, and 10% to a "Republicans pounce" approach to the fraud scandal.  The main goal seems to be to shield Democrat Tim Walz from any blame.

Democrats (in Minnesota the Democratic-Farm-Labor Party) have discovered they can get away with anything as long as they claim to be the protectors of the downtrodden Somali community.

Because the billions in fraud mostly came from federal tax dollars, and in any event are invisible, Minnesotans don’t actually see any negative impact from the massive fraud.  Even the mention that millions went to a Somali terror group just elicits a shrug.

Marcus went to Minnesota expecting to find anger over billions of dollars stolen, but instead found that most residents think theft either doesn’t exist, or else is acceptable--as long as it’s done *by people Democrats support.*  They seem to view it as a form of reparations.

Instead of being embarrassed by the massive fraud, Tim Walz and his lackeys haven’t admitted either wrongdoing or incompetence.  And that position seems to be working with Democrat voters--and the Mainstream Media.
