Liberals and "green energy"

You don't read the Boston Globe, so you never get to see the absolute best examples of stupid liberals demonstrating their famous double-standards.

The Globe tells the story of coastal residents of Massachusetts--all liberal, of course--who absolutely LOOOOove dat "green energy," eh?  And what could possibly be greener than wind, right?  Doesn't produce any of that deadly, Erf-killin poison "carbon dioxide," eh?  Totally Erf-friendly.

But now they're bitching about their view, expecially at night, complaining that the constantly-flashing red "obstacle lights" are ruining their formerly idyllic view.

And liberals used to love whales, an' saving 'em.  Totally agree.  But when dead whales started turning up around "wind farms," suddenly LOTS of unidentified letter writers said "Dere is NO scientific evidence that wind farms kill whales!"  And after all, what are a few dead whales compared to saving ALL life on Erf by making electricity from anything other than oil, gas or the dread coal, right?

And of course when you make that the choice, no one would ever disagree.  Except it's a false choice.

And it's amazing how fast liberals threw the whales under the bus, eh?

What's next, Massachusetts libs?  Outlawing motorized fishing boats?  Cuz if you hate "fossil fuels," as you say, that's the inevitable step--the only way to be "logically consistent!"

Hahahahaha!  That's a joke: Expecting liberals to embrace "logical consistency" is like expecting AOC or Jazzy Crockett (who claims to have a law degree) to know what the Constitution says.

"Wait...why not just get our faaabulous Democrat rulers to pass a LAW that all motorized boats in Massachusetts must be powered by electric motors?  After all, the smaht Democrats who rule California and New York passed LAWS ordering that after 2035 no one would be allowed to sell piston-engine cars in those states, so...why not for boats too?"

The real hoot will be watching how the billion-dollar AI companies will convince liberals to eagerly embrace nuclear power!  Libs have hated nuclear power for 50 years, thanks to skeery events like "Three Mile Island" (zero deaths or injuries) and skeery Hollywood dramas like "The China Syndrome" (Jane Fonda, look it up).  Totally opposed, eh?

But AI centers being developed will use more electricity than entire cities.  Liberal Dem: "Why should that matter to me, deplorable?"

Cuz if demand skyrockets, but no new generating plants are allowed, what do you stupid bastards think that'll do to the price of electricity?  Yup, it'll skyrocket.  So the AI companies--even including Google--have already signed contracts for "small" nuclear powerplants.  But they have to get permits to run 'em, which means they have to overcome the decades-old opposition of liberals.

The companies will do that NOT by admitting that each AI center being built (which the companies and their media shills are coyly, cutely, deliberately calling "campuses") will gobble up more electricity than Pittsburgh, but the opposite: the AI companies will claim they're your friends because they'll offer a way to cut your electricity costs!!!  And that touted secret is by building their own nuclear plants.  But just small ones, so...

No electric "utility" could get liberals to buy that lie, but because AI is being pushed as "the Wave of the Future!"--something we're constantly told we simply must do to keep from losing to the Chinese--liberals will slowly be propagandized into supporting the nuclear plants.

Ah, I hear my liberal friends saying they don't believe that.  Just watch.  It's as certain as the sunrise, because when companies have spent billions on buying land and drawing up blueprints, they don't just give up when faced with obstacles.  See, electric utilities have to get permission from politicians to do anything, and only a few utilities were allowed go nuke because state politicians blocked dozens of other nuke projects going back decades, obeying the demands of mobs of screaming liberals.

But because AI is new, it's not yet totally controlled by the pols, so the companies can pay tens of millions in bribes to get what they want--as long as liberal voters don't call their mobs out to object.  Hence the brilliant propaganda campaign you'll soon start to see to convince libs that the AI companies will "cut your electric bills."  Clever.
