21 Dem-ruled states have ALREADY sued Trump for cutting the Dept of Ed
The Dept of "Education" was created by corrupt congresswhores seeking votes from the teachers' unions. Like all gruberment agencies, it now wastes billions every year. Current budget $268 Billion.
The U.S. is $36 TRILLION in debt. As a direct result, we now pay more just in interest on that massive sum than we spend on defense. And since the gruberment spends more than it makes every year, the only way we can pay that vast interest (a trillion dollars a year) is to...wait for it...borrow the money to do so!
And anyone who knows the equation for "exponential growth" knows this will keep getting worse--unless someone in power take action.
The corrupt congress stubbornly refuses to kill any federal spending or agencies. They can do that even when the Republicans have a majority in both the House and senate, because of the "filibuster." For young Americans that means Democrats can block any bill they want to with just 41 votes. And they routinely do that.
So...the DoEd spends $268 Billion last year. Only a tiny fraction of that goes to teachers or schools, instead it pays bureaucrats to demand endless "reports" from public schools. It quietly pushes LGTBQRSTUV bullshit, including sex-changes for kids.
Anyone who's borrowed money knows about "exponential growth." Trump certainly does, and knows we have to cut spending to avoid national bankruptcy. So he directed the Secretary of Education to cut half the employees at DoEd.
Today word is that he'll sign an EO to dismantle the entire department. And predictably, last week a "coalition" of 21 Democrat-ruled states sued to block Trump from doing anything to reduce the size and cost of the DoEd.
The lawsuit says
...neither the President nor his agencies can undo the many acts of Congress that authorize the Department...and appropriate [money for it].
The President’s directive to eliminate the Department of Education—including through the March 11 decimation of the Department’s workforce and any other agency implementation—is an unlawful violation of the separation of powers, and the Executive’s obligation to take care that the law be faithfully executed."
If you're a young American you don't realize the implication of that last phrase: that's from Article 2 of the Constitution, listing the responsibilities of the President. And it's setting the stage for yet another impeachment.
It's interesting that when Democrat presidents fail to enforce valid U.S. laws, neither the Media nor the "elites" are the least bit concerned. But Trump's efforts to cut waste have already triggered huge outrage by those fired, and his cuts to the DoEd--even if he doesn't eliminate it--have already triggered the lawsuit cited above, filed by 21 Dem-ruled states.
As anyone who knows math, Trump knows the ever-growing U.S. debt will kill the nation if we don't start reducing it. And the only way to do that is by cutting gruberment spending. The Democrats are determined to not allow that--and will impeach him yet again for trying to do that.
They'll claim the only legal way to cut spending is by congress passing laws. Problem is, as noted above, congress will use the filibuster to block any law that actually cuts spending. As long as the Dems they have 41 seats in the senate, they can do that.
Anyone who knows "compound interest" knows there's one way to save the U.S. (literally, cuz if spending isn't cut, we're doomed): For the Supreme Court to reverse its 1972 ruling that the president must spend every dollar appropriated by congress.
Of course the court will simply decline to take the case, allowing the 50-year-old ruling to stand. And as noted earlier, congress will never vote to reduce spending, no matter what the iron laws of compound interest say.
(For young Americans: Democrats don't believe math and equations. They claim "Maff beez racist!!" "Tools used by your Oppressors!" Seriously, edu-crats in the Democrat-ruled shithole of Washington State actually claimed "Maff beez racis'!"
Highschool sophomore: "Wait...don't engineers need to know some math to design jet airliners or tall buildings?"
Democrat "edu-crats:" "Wow, look at the time! My government jet is waiting to fly me back to D.C. to do important work fo' duh pipo! But do forward your silly question to my office, and we'll get back to you reeeel soon!"
Now here's the twist: While the Democrats would obviously love to impeach and remove Trump, they win even if they don't have the senate votes to remove him from office. Reason is that yet another impeachment wins undecided voters over to the Dems, and allows 'em to claim they "stood up to duh eeeebil Orange Hitler to preserve ouah precious democracy!!"
SO...the stage is set for the showdown: Trump knows that if a president can't cut wasteful spending, the nation is doomed, because the utterly corrupt congress will never pass laws to do it.
I predict
1) the lawsuit by 21 Democrat-ruled states will result in leftist "district judges" and appeals courts ruling for the Democrats;
2) Trump will stand his ground, defying the lower courts, appealing to the SC;
3) The SC will either refuse to take the case, allowing the 1970s ruling on "impoundment" to stand, or will rule against Trump, with Roberts and Barrett voting with the liberals;
4) An hour after that ruling, House Democrats will file articles of impeachment.
I suspect this will all happen before the mid-term elections (November, 2026), but that depends on how quickly the case gets to the SC.
