"The Hill" posts an "opinion piece" urging congress to block Trump from taking office
At 8 a.m. today (Dec 26) the Democrat-fellating rag "The Hill" published an "opinion piece" by two leftist lawyers, titled
Congress has the power to block Trump from taking office, but lawmakers must act nowNow, almost non-stop since Jan 6, 2021, the Democrats have been bleating that trying to overturn the results of an election--even a clearly stolen one--is "election interference" and must be severely prosecuted--as in, multi-year prison sentences for people who merely peacefully entered the Capitol building.
Wait...isn't trying to block the inauguration of an authentically-elected president the very definition of "election interference"?
But now--as they always do--the Democrats now think trying to get congress to block Trump from taking office is just peachy, thanks. "Election interference? Nonsense!"
Suddenly "election interference" is perfectly fine--because they're the ones trying to block the duly-elected president--who won both the electoral college AND the popular vote--from taking office.
The brazenness is stunning. "See, WE do NOT want to interfere with the election, stupid deplorables! We iz merely using ouah right of free-speech to tell millions of American leftists that Trump shouldn't be allowed to be inaugurated as president! So we iz urging congress to prevent dat! Surely you can see dat dis is not 'election interference' at ALL!"
And of course The Hill posts this crap. Because after all, urging congress (and the Left) to block Trump from taking office--and inflaming millions of readers--is NOT interfering with an election. Nope nope nope. Not a whit, citizen.
Author Evan A. Davis was editor in chief of the Columbia Law Review, and co-author David M. Schulte was editor in chief of the Yale Law Journal. Both are solid leftists.
So now if 50,000 leftists attack DC on inauguration day, spurred at least in part by this inflammatory "opinion piece," think the two leftist authors will be prosecuted for "inciting an insurrection" or "election interference?
Of course not. Cuz they're Democrats, and we've long-since established that contra to the principle of the Founders that "The law applies equally to all," we now have "Two sets of laws, citizen: a harsh one for conservatives, and a warm, fuzzy one for leftists.
