Washington Post lost $70 million last year, fires wokie female editor

Yesterday we learned that the Democrat-fellating Washington Post lost $70 million last year, along with half its readers.

Conservatives suggested the reason may be due to the Post's history of being a constant lying propaganda outlet for the Democrat party, but Democrats countered that that was absurd, and the real reason was Trump supporters.

Publisher Will Lewis explained to the paper's "reporters" (not sure why they're called that) "People aren't reading your stuff," and announced a "major restructuring" to regain readers.  He denied that former readers had stopped subscribing because of the paper's constant shilling for the Dem party, saying most Americans loved the Democrat party and its policies, and hated Trump, so will eagerly return to the Post if he just announces a..."major restructuring."  Done.

Cynics suggested that the real problem was that everyone on the staff is a leftist, and that under DEI rules none of them can be fired.  You can't even force 'em to come to work on time, cuz according to DEI rules dat beez raaacis'.

A Human Resources political officer confirmed that neither the publisher nor owner Jeff Bezos is allowed to fire members of any of a half-dozen "specially-protected groups" under DEI rules.  In fact the Democrat party's Political Officer said management was already in trouble with biden's Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for naming four white males to run the newsrooms under the restructuring program, and that an EEOC lawsuit was already in the works.

Publisher Lewis's speech was interrupted several times by staffers humming "The Internationale."  (For young Americans that's essentially the Communist national anthem.)
