He blames Republicans for his decision to cut services to Denver residents, because the Republican governor bused "migrants" to Denver, claiming that violates federal law.
- PBS-- It's clear the racist Republicans are trying to blame Denver's budget crisis on poor people of color who are forced to flee their home nations because they couldn't find doctors in their home countries who would give their children life-saving "gender-affirming health care."
When a reporter noted that Mexico has hospitals and doctors who perform "gender-affirming surgery," a spokespersyn for the oppressed asylum-seekers said "Yes but in Mexico the parents would have to pay for the surgery themselves. That's cruel."
- NY Times-- New York City announced it's suing Texas for busing "migrants" from Texas to N.Y. "It's unconstitutional for Texas to send asylum-seekers here," said Mayor Eric Adams. Adams said Federal law bars states from helping migrants move to other states.
Adams then asked the Biden administration for a billion dollars to help the city cope with the added expense. "It's the only fair thing to do," he said.
