New Dem school board president sworn in with her hand on a stack of pro-tranny books

If you're a Democrat school board president, and wanted to demonstrate your pro-gay, pro-tranny "virtue," and stick a thumb in the eye of concerned parents, what book would you choose to place your hand on when taking whatever passes for your oath of office?

The newly-elected president of one of Pennsylvania’s largest school districts had the answer:  Instead of putting her hand on the Bible, she placed it on a carefully-chosen stack of sexually-explicit pro-gay, pro-tranny propaganda books she supports placing in elementary-school libraries.

Democrat Karen Smith was sworn in as president of the Central Bucks school board by putting her hand on a stack of pro-tranny books.  With that out of the way she immediately moved to undo Republican-led, pro-parent, and pro-family policies.

Pro-family parents had demanded that these books be removed from school libraries.  They're not "banned," as they're fine for adult libraries, and wacked-out parents are free to check 'em out for their special snowflakes to read.  But normal parents don't want the books in school libraries.  Hard to imagine, eh?

We've already seen the Bible removed from schools. The filth described above is what educators are replacing it with as they re-shape American society.

Think this is just a right-wing scare story?  If you're a Democrat, you do.  In that case, read how the Democrat-loving, pro-tranny Philly Inquirer slobbered over it:

New president of Central Bucks’ school board takes oath on a stack of frequently banned books about young gay sex
--Dec. 5, 2023

As she was sworn in as president of the Central Bucks school board, Karen Smith placed her hand not on a Bible, but on a stack of frequently banned books.>>

"Banned" is horseshit, designed to get readers to make comparisons to Nazi Germany: the allegedly "banned" books show gay and tranny as the greatest thing EVAH, so decent parents have argued that it's crazy to have 'em in grade-school libraries.  This isn't "banning" 'em, as wokie parents of confused teens (which most are) are perfectly free to check 'em out from adult public libraries and let their snowflakes read 'em.  But Democrat-ruled school boards have screamed bloody murder, DEMANDING that these books be put in elementary-school libraries.

Smith wanted to make a symbolic gesture to set a new tone after the former GOP-dominated board passed a policy prohibiting “sexualized content” that led to bans of two books and paved the way for challenges of 60 others.

Smith, like the other Democrats who were in the minority, had opposed that policy, which became one of the most contentious measures passed by the board in its tumultuous two years in power.

“I’m not particularly religious. The Bible doesn’t hold significant meaning for me, and given everything that has occurred in the last couple of years, the banned books, they do mean something to me at this point,” Smith said Tuesday. She wanted to make clear “the commitment I’ve had to fighting for the books, and for our students’ freedom to read.”

Smith said she was somewhat surprised when a photo of her being sworn in on a stack of the banned books appeared online, garnering more than 180,000 views on Twitter, and praise from the internet.

The pro-Democrat Inquirer "reporter" takes care to show how strongly good Democrats supported Smith.  The paper wants to show its pro-tranny stance.

Smith says she has no idea why the photo resonated as widely as it did, and then explained what the books she chose meant to her:

*Night, by Elie Wiesel: Smith placed the Nobel Prize-winner’s autobiographical account of surviving the Holocaust.
Note the cunning here: No one has ever proposed banning Wiesel's book about the Holocaust.  But the reporter put that totally uncontroversial book at the top of the list to try to legitimize the rest of the books Smith selected to take her "oath" on.  Classic propaganda move.
*"All Boys Aren’t Blue," about growing up black and queer has sexually explicit passages that Smith called “intense.”

She explains “I found that the author, what he says in the book about why he chose to write that scene, it’s very powerful, and he’s very vulnerable in sharing that with the world.  He thought it would help other young gay men and that’s why he did it,” she said. “I just thought that was admirable.”
Democrats who sit on school boards love books that describe the faaaabulousness of gay and trans to school kids.

*"Flamer."  A so-called "graphic novel" [what Democrat "education experts" are now calling comic books, to make 'em sound like serious literature!] about a teenager grappling with his identity.

And by "grappling with his identity" the Inquirer's propagandist means the piece ends with the protagonist concluding that he loves being gay.  If the comic book had ended with the opposite conclusion, it would nevah have been selected by pro-gay school staff to be in a school library, since that doesn't support the Democrat objective.

*"Beyond Magenta" is about the lives of six transgender teens.  Smith says “I was very impressed” with the teenagers’ accounts, “and found them all to be very courageous."

Again, do ya think even one of the six trannies decided to "de-transition"?  Of course not.  The tranny mafia and Dems insist that "transitioning" is a one-way street: They can't admit that anyone evah regrets the hormones or surgery, since that would suggest that waiting until age 18 to make that decision would be prudent.  They don't want to accept that restriction, but want kids as young as 12 to commit to "transitioning" as early as possible  They want to convince kids that no one evah regrets the decision at age 12 or so.]

Smith was a "school public relations professional" and insists “The Republican Party has lost its way.”

The Democrat-fellating Inquirer pushing the Democrat party line.

The new majority-Democrat board has ended the former board’s library policy, *as well as the ban on staff advocacy.*

Hey citizen, what do you think a "ban on staff advocacy" means?  Note well that the "reporter" totally avoided explaining, maybe cuz they were out of electrons or something.  No.  It means the board is telling all adminishits and teachers they're free to push gay and tranny again.

This really is a masterpiece of Democrat work:  Heroic new school board prezzie ordering pro-tranny books be returned to grade-school libraries after parents had worked to get them removed.  Cuz...this is the Democrat agenda.  If you don't think it is, you're too naive to breed.
