San Francisco's black female mayor lies about why companies are leaving "her" city: "It's not my policies!"

Unless you follow politics you really don't have a good idea of how utterly amoral most Democrat pols are.  And of course that shows up in national broadcast of corrupt pro-Democrat Media cesspools like CNN, MSNBC and the alphabet nets.

Latest example: San Francisco has been devastated by crime and open drug use by addicts and crazies camping on the sidewalks.  It's gotten SO bad that major companies have closed costly flagship stores, writing off millions of dollars of investment.  The Lying Media have tried to ignore this but the internet reports it, as do the investment websites, which can't ignore.

Just as bad, virtually all businesses along the city's main streets are boarded up.  Ordinary citizens with cell phones walk up Market Street for a dozen blocks, and there'll be ONE small store still open.  They post the long, unedited video for anyone to see--but if you don't know where to look, you never see it.  So the wider public never sees it.   Interestingly, this is TOTALLY ignored by the Lying Media because it's NOT huge flagship stores!  The Lying Media doesn't care about small stores.

SO...although local politicians obviously have no control over nationwide recessions, they have lots of control over the policies for their cops and DAs.  And in San Fran the policy is: we won't prosecute crime or open drug use, period.

That policy comes from the corrupt black female Democrat mayor, London Breed.  Of course she refuses to admit her policies (like those of every other Democrat mayor) are hideous and responsible for much of the devastation, eh?  So she desperately looks around for anything else to blame.

And in the interview at the link, she's found two: "Artificial Intelligence," and "changed shopping patterns due to modern life."  So watch as she bleats and blathers to keep Dem voters on the Dem plantation:

On Friday's “CNN Primetime,” Breed admitted  that the city she rules "has been far too lenient” on drugs.  Ah, ya don't say!  And who set those policies, eh sparky?   Gee, it's a mystery.  

She noted that Target is closing stores in San Fran.  But rather than admit that it's because of massive shoplifting and far fewer customers due to threats from street thugs, she gaslights us, blaming the closures on the vague claim that “people don’t necessarily shop in the same ways that they did before,” confident that her interviewer won't call her on the obvious bullshit.

"Hey, sparky, why isn't Target closing stores in, say, Oklahoma City?"  But of course the Leftists who infest CNN will never ask her.

If you don't buy that excuse, she's got another one all ready: "artificial intelligence."  She bleats that "the growth of AI requires us to make some significant adjustments in how we use our retail establishments as well.”

Really?  That's deliberately vague, and she gets to sling a catchy buzz-phrase that shows the hipsters she's really cool.  But try asking her what it actually means.

Breed also stated that while retail theft is an issue “it’s a problem that’s also happening in other places all over the country as well.”

Technically, yes.  But for every hundred million dollars of retail merch stolen in San Fran, Arkansas loses maybe $100,000.  Yeah, lots more druggies and thugs in SFO, but the real difference is Arkansas prosecutes that crap, while Breed ignores it.

How's that worked out for ya, mayor?

The CNN host asked, “You’ve talked about requiring drug testing for welfare recipients in your city."  Hahahahahahaha!  What a hoot!  She wouldn't actually consider that, since the ACLU would sue in two seconds.  And garland's "civil rights" enforcers would decree that welfare is an absolute right, and that neither states nor cities can impose conditions for receiving that fabulous free money.

The CNN shill also asked "As San Francisco battles a fentanyl epidemic, do you think your party has been too lenient on this issue of crime?"

Breed replied, “Yes, but my goal in this is to require, not sobriety, but that you are a part of a treatment program."

Didja get that?  Mealy-mouth bullshit.  "Too lenient BUT...I don't demand that you be sober as long as you're part of a 'drug treatment program.' "  Short answer: no change in crime, just a lot more public money spent on "treatment" programs that do nothing but burn cash.   

Breed made it clear that she opposes fentanyl, and says "We have to start taking really aggressive steps. It’s not a Democratic issue. It’s not a Republican issue."

Well you got part of that right, sparky: The Republicans want to throw drug smugglers and dealers in prison for life.  You Democrats keep blocking that.  Why?  "Cuz we beez good, compassionate pipo!  We need druggies sleeping on sidewalks, cuz...reasons!

CNN asked, “Target has decided to close a number of stores in the City of San Francisco. What’s your reaction to that?”

Breed responded, “Retail theft is happening all over the country, especially in faaabulous Democrat-ruled cities.  It don' have nuffin' ta do wif my policies!  So don't you go sayin' my policies are duh problem or I'll sue your ass!  See, duh Rethuglicans say dis beez due ta my policies of not prosecuting crime or drug use, but dey jus' beez right-wing extremists!

"See, our city is a changing city. And people don’t necessarily shop in the same ways that they did before. We have a lot of companies here. We’re the AI, artificial intelligence capital of the world, we’re starting to see that industry grow significantly. How people shop, how people move around the city and drive, autonomous vehicles, you name it, it’s all happening here in San Francisco, cuz we way cool!  Yew kin get high here any time yew want, an' we jus' fine wit dat."  

"And it requires us to make some significant adjustments in how we use our retail establishments as well. So, I think it’s — the retail theft is definitely a problem that we need to address, but it’s a problem that’s also happening in other places all over the country as well.”

Got it, citizen?  "How WE use OUR 'retail establishments,'" eh?  Dontcha love it?  This *bitch* casually bleats about "our retail establishments," and you think she's just using a figure of speech.  She actually thinks they're hers!

I used to live just north of San Francisco.  Loved the city.  The physical landmarks are still the same, but the people--the environment--has changed, radically.

If you're curious as to how this will play out, take a look at the daily murders and rapes in Europe.  It's a killing field, and the ruling classes have rigged the elections so that they stay in power and maintain the status quo of 50,000 illegal invaders a month.  

Here it's 2.5 MILLION per year.  Thanks, Democrats!
