Army exempts trannie service members and minorities from physical fitness requirements

Since the business of the military used to be to win wars, every branch of the services used to have physical fitness requirements.  But turns out "specially-protected groups" are exempt from those requirements.  And you have no idea what that's doing.

I think we all finally realize that the top priority of the  biden/harris/Democrat regime is advancing the interests of trannies and minorities.  So from day one the regime ordered the military to support every bit of wokie crap you see around you every day, like forcing servicemembers to use "preferred pronouns."  The regime not only accepted trannies, and weren't allowed to discharge members who went trans, and even forced the services to pay for sex-change surgery--recruiting has fallen WAY short of needs.

For Democrats and young people, the regime made the military a joke--deliberately--so naturally the competent people who would have enlisted took a pass.

The military responded by offering big bonuses to members who re-enlisted.  Didn't solve the problem.  And the military also allowed people who didn't meet the fitness criteria to enlist, hoping they'd get into shape during basic training.

That didn't happen, so now the military has thousands of members who can't pass the fitness requirements.  

Back when we had competent leaders the fix would have been to discharge any member who failed to meet the requirements.  But there was a political problem here for the bidenharris/Dem regime:  Most of the people who didn't meet the requirements were either female, black, Hispanic or trannies.

"Ooohh, what do we do now?"

And as everyone who's not a Democrat could have predicted, the fix was...waive the requirements!  It's classic, like waiving the rule that the FDIC only insured depositors up to $250,000, but then instantly waiving that and paying off "specially-connected" depositors for $3 BILLION when a connected bank failed.

Or like "It's a felony to lie on a federal gun form"--unless you're Hunty biden, in which case no penalty at all.  Cool.

SO...

The first move was to give waivers on fitness standards to to trannies--or to use the Pentagon's politically correct term, members who are receiving “gender-affirming” care.  [I *really* hate that Orwellian bullshit.]

Then once that precedent was set, it was easy to add a line to expand waivers to include all the “diversity" members who weren't passing the standards: women, blacks, Hispanics and trannies.

Democrats insist that embracing "diversity"--including “gender-diverse individuals" (to use the Pentagon's politically-correct term) makes everything stronger, better.  Certainly it does for the diversity hires.  But for the overall effectiveness of the military?

The pic below is a male Army officer who has gotten the regime to order every member of the military to call him "she." He now goes by "Rachel Jones," and the Army PR office piece on Jones--just two days before the Fourth of July--is slobbering, fawning.  "Her journey from battling depression & suicidal thoughts to embracing authenticity inspires us all."



The piece is accompanied by the Orwellian hashtag "#WhyWeServe."  And noticed the flags in each hand.  Yeah, this is a fine specimen of the U.S. Army.

You may notice that Jones is way overweight.  A straight white guy with that much fat would be out of the Army in a week, but thanks to the bidenharris regime Jones doesn’t have to meet physical fitness standards that apply to everybody else in the Army.

Two sets of rules, baby.  Just like two sets of laws.

The actual, written Army regs say members who identify as transgender can be exempted from the fitness standards for as long as they're on hormone "therapy."

Wait...everything I've read says that's life-long.  Oh, got it.

Taking hormones ("therapy") also gets the trannies out of even having to *take* fitness tests.  Cool.

Clearly the wokie Army doesn’t believe tranny members are just like everybody else, and in order to keep them on active duty the Army--under the corrupt biden toady Lloyd Austin--has exempted trannies from the standards other service members must pass.

Since 2001 the number of soldiers who are classified as overweight has skyrocketed by over 400%, and much of that has to do with “diverse” recruiting.  Women, Blacks, and Hispanics in the military have higher obesity rates than Whites.  The "solution" is to waive the standards.

One of the lies we were repeatedly told was that the armed forces could accept women and people who weren't physically fit, and yet by some unexplained magic the standards wouldn't change--no harm to the services.  Rational people knew that was a lie. This has been particularly true when it comes to sex differences.  As we know, different standards of physical fitness are applied to men and women, contradicting what the politicians assured us when the military went wokie.

Now we see yet another waiver of the previous standards, this time for trannies.

Even worse is the ORDER from a corrupt leftist judge that people who enlist can claim tranny status after they enter, at which time the military MUST pay for their sex-change surgery.  How many of you predicted that, eh?

From the founding of the U.S, the military has been under civilian control.  And until roughly Obama's ascension, pols did everything they could to help our military be competent.  But once Democrat pols realized they could win votes from the LGBTs and leftists by ordering what we're seeing now, all hope of a competent military is gone.  So once again, one of the great principles of the Founders--civilian control of the armed forces--has been used by the Left to hamstring what was once the top fighting force in the world.
