biden's DHS announces new "initiative": migrants can FLY to the U.S. instead of trekking

In two days the bidenharris/Democrat regime will start a new immigration program.  Yaaay!  Cuz we need MORE totally unvetted immigrants, right?

The regime says this faaabulous new "initiative" is "intended to address unlawful crossings along the U.S.-Mexico border."  It will let Central Americans and Colombians enter the U.S. legally without having to pay smugglers to get them into the U.S., and without having to make a long trek, according to regime officials.

Yes, the regime lackeys actually said the program will "address unlawful crossings."   See, you "address unlawful crossings" by making them lawful.  Classic Democrat/bidenharris reasoning.  In notices about the program DHS called it "an alternative to irregular migration to help relieve pressure at the southwest border."  Seriously, they said that.

Yep, starting July 10th biden's new Department of Homeland Security "initiative" will allow citizens of Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras to simply fly to the U.S. without all the hassle of paying smugglers and trekking for a month.

So instead of having to pay a smuggler $2,500 or so to make the long trek north, they'll only have to pay $1,000 or so for a plane ticket, and three hours later they're here in the U.S.  Is that a great way to "reduce pressure on the border" or what?  Y'think a few hundred-thousand folks will jump right on that?  Cheaper, and FAR easier than a trek on foot, eh?

Of course this program is only open to "qualified" residents of the four countries mentioned above.  So how do you qualify?  By having relatives who are U.S. citizens or legal residents, who simply file visa applications on behalf of the new "migrant."

The regime says the program will "welcome" up to 100,000 migrants from the three Central American nations.  Curiously, no limit has been announced for Colombian residents.  One can confidently predict 50,000 people quickly moving to that nation, eh?   A hundred bucks to the right official in Columbia buys a passport and you're good to go, eh?

DHS says this system "will allow relatives to come to the U.S. much more quickly than they would have under the numerical caps of the existing visa system.  Ah, "much more quickly."  You bet.

So far in this fiscal year more than 126,000 Colombians, 115,000 Guatemalans, 41,000 Salvadorans and 110,000 Hondurans have been processed by U.S. immigration authorities at the southwest border.  For the math challenged that's about 400,000 just from those four nations.  "But dis iz a program to...uh...relieve pressure at duh border!  Really!  Trust us!"

Earlier the regime revived two similar Obama and Bush-era parole programs for Cubans and Haitians with U.S. relatives.

Democrat: "None of dis iz true!  Dis iz uh 'ultra-MAGA right-wing violent extremist conspiracy tale!  Prolly from some fake source like, uh...Tucker Carlson!  Yeh, dat it!"

Really?  This is from that fortress of Democrat-fellating propaganda called "CBS."  So go eff yourself, asshole.
